So... I'm searching for anime with sad atmosphere , like Shigatsu, Natsume Yuujinchou (at some episodes), and Violet Evergarden.
Any suggestion??
Thanks!

Well, there's this Hotarubi no Morning e . It's only 45 minutes long, but did a great job playing with the feels... TwT
There's also Plastic Memories which I also think did a great job with the feels..

I'm starting to get embarrassed by my own forum signature line.. XD

Haibane Renmei has sort of a sad feel, but it's really more bitter-sweet/nostalgic (maybe that's what you're going for). Rurouni Kenshin: Meiji Kenkaku is much more sad in my mind (doomed romance). Neon Genesis Evangelion doesn't possess a sad tone really...it's more just dark (but it's still definitely worth watching). Ef: A Tale of Melodies definitely has a sad tone; it's doomed romance like Rurouni Kenshin: Meiji Kenkaku, which is always the worst.

+1 Rurouni Kenshin: Meiji Kenkaku
Ef: A Tale of Memories (however it's preferable to start with A Tale of Memories, though not absolutely necessary)

Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryouko (Girls Last Tour) follows two girls who survived a catastrophic war. Despite its premise it can be quite light-hearted at times and occasionally philosophical.

Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 follows two kids who are cut off from home after an earthquake.
