That's... a whole lotta anime. Might wanna narrow your focus a bit? But here are some, I guess.

Trigun - action/western

Samurai champloo - action

Tentai senshi sunred - comedy/gag

Mononoke - mystery/psychological

Magnetic Rose (from memories) - psychological

Anything GITS - rec first two movies and stand alone complex

Speed grapher - action/psychological - he does have a teenage girl with him but the mc himself is much older as are most of the other characters

The Big O - mecha/psychological

Saraiya Goyou

Jormungand - there's a sort of main character who is a kid in this but everyone else are adults (and they're in the arms business, so...)

Black Lagoon - action
