How to automatically insert the start date of an anime?

So I know that when you complete a series it automatically inserts the end date. But is there any way to have it automatically insert the start date as soon as you set it to "currently watching"

If the anime was on your plan to watch list and you increase the episode count it will ask you if you want to move it to "currently watching" and then it should also insert the start date automatically.
