| I also forgot to mention this, but there was an update on the Switch that allows users to add there friends from their WiiU, 3DS, and the following Nintendo Apps*: -Miitomo -Mario Run -Fire Emblem Heroes Friends on those games/systems will only show up if they have a switch as well, and if they have a "My Nintendo" account on both the switch and the system you have them listed as friends (you will also need to do the same). |

I've removed the 'latest' updates from the first post and probably won't update the first post any more unless there's sufficient interest going forward. Moving on... Still need to get around to New Pokemon Snap ._. the Pokemon Presents today was pretty neat, I can't say I'm sold yet on the dp remakes or the legends game but they're looking better and better. welcome back btw @Mana ^^ even if you won't stick around it's nice to see a new face! |

| I've been playing games so infrequently lately. There's a single Picross puzzle game I've been booting up every month or two for a year :S Metroid Prime 4 looks really disappointing. Irritating sidekick character did my head in from the previews. Wonder if gaming will ever get back to how it was a decade or so ago. It probably won't. |

| The side characters were enough to convince me not to get the game. Yeah, annoying characters isn't really enough to ruin a game, but that fact it's in Metroid and there's also an open world desert, I had a feeling that the team behind Prime 4 didn't really understand the Prime games. Seeing how linear the areas are (more like dungeons now), the game constantly telling you where to go/what to do, how little upgrades are used, and hunts crystals in the desert for hours, I don't think I was at all wrong. Really quite the shame, since that was one of the very few things I was interested in coming out this year. At least there's older games I can play; been playing a lot of stuff from the 00s. |
