| You could try Plastic Memories, Clannad (They get together towards the end of the first season, but the entirety of after story is all about their adult life together and the hardships they face), Sword Art Online also has a lot of what you're looking for. |

| to my opinion of watching anime, many romances usually drag out, thats how people make money. So for my response to your question, the only anime I can really think of that doesn't drag out is Golden Time. Im not fully sure if that is accurate or to your definition of "drag out". My definition of "drag out" is when the couple barely starts acknowledging each other at the end of the series or not even doing it at all (psst, Nijiiro Days). Golden Time gives it about a good 3-4 episodes for the relationship to proceed. Also, another anime I recommend is Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry. It proceeds at a pretty good pace, and the relationship doesn't mess around much or get stopped with many "big" problems. |
