It took me a while to finish this one. I'm really proud of it and I feel very sentimental because of it.

I love both of them a lot. You've got an "Instagram AMV" style. It's not a bad thing, but it was instantly recognizable to me. When I scroll through my Instagram feed, I see editors who edit just like that. The warps are new to me however and I looove the effect.

I'm quite sad they're so short. Right when I was starting to feel emotionally invested in the second AMV (with the cell phones), the video ended! So I wish your content was a little longer. But I understand how long it can take to make a full length AMV so I respect the work you have.

For the first AMV you posted (with the kids in the water), I love the old, retro music playing and I think the video might have benefited from some "film effects". You know how old films have scratches and shakes because of the old cameras they used? That's an effect many video editing softwares have.

Overall, I love your style and I love your videos so I subscribed. I'm inspired by the many different editors I meet and I hope to continue learning from people like you so I too can have a truly unique and wonderful style.

ahh!!! There is a difference between youtube and instagram amvs. I personally create instagram amvs in my free time.

and there are youtube amvs. usually they are edited in a very linear fashion and show the story of the anime more, while instagram tends to let you create little videos that show your emotions. On top of that instagram amvs are short.

Now for you specifically I feel you edit like with a combination. Some tips I would give you is to get rid of the fact that your footage is a rectangle on your screen. But you are doing great. PM me if you want to learn how to achieve that.

I assume you want to keep that 20-30 second edit vibe. If not thats okay, you can branch off and do a more traditional amv vibe doing the whole song or showing anime scenes. You can even have a mix of both.

Aughh I'm having a hard time explaining what I want to explain. Er. Know that your style is unique and that whatever you do you will still be different, in your own good way. Following the vibe of being an instagram editor or doing full songs like a youtube editor, you can do what you want with it.
