Hm, same here. It's just that I don't like nvidia as a company. Their stuff is too expensive, they make unnecessarily restricted proprietary technology that costs a premium price and do so in such a way as to split the market as much as possible and god knows what else :3

One thing I've for example been looking at is a monitor to accompany a better gpu when I get around to that. There's a monitor with 2 identical variants aside from 1 thing. 1 has freesync, the other g-sync. The latter is €200 more expensive pure and only because nvidia demands it ^^

I'm interested in seeing how many volumes they'll cover this time. I'm guessing another 3 volumes :3

If they did that they'd probably butcher the LN again like with season 1, but yes it would cover some good stuff. The best stuff is from volume 7+ though :3

Not sure if they'll be able to save the old drivers though, heard they are writing new drivers from scratch for Vega. But if they manage to make the RX500 drivers as performant as the nvidia drivers I might be inclined to buy one of those :3

As I just said Vega drivers apparently get written from scratch, or at least a big part from scratch. So people have high hopes that they will work better with linux :3

Considering the driver support from them in the past and those for ryzen 7, I wouldn't put my hopes up for the launch day drivers at least :3
