 ~ Bikini Warriors ~ Synopsis When darkness threatens the world, four heroes hold the only hope for salvation—if they can even manage to get out of the first town, that is. Bikini Warriors follows a party of beautiful adventurers in revealing armor: courageous Fighter, airheaded Paladin, timid Mage, and alluring Darkelf. But can you really be an adventurer if you don't get going on an adventure? Our heroes are eternally broke, insufferably vain, and frequently outmatched by the dangers of their world. | WHAT THE HELL did i just watch?!? As an honest man, i will now have to tell my boss i spent the nightshift watching porn. I hope i don´t get fired lol The fan service was not fan service anymore when it goes THAT far. Also Keijo set new standards for pointlless Bikini fanservice so that show was even more unimpressive after watching Keijo!!!!!!!!!! The best part was the first OVA and the special episode where the producers finally realised there was no need to hide their intentions anymore. While the show was basically a softporn, the OVA actually WAS a soft porn -.- but ok, gave me a great chance to get my average rating down a bit hehe Easily the worst anime i have seen since Utsu Musume Sayuri two years ago...or maybe even three... Can´t believe i was strill able to go through all of it...i guess i´m just a man after all -.- |
| LOL! While this is slightly above average as an ecchi anime, it definitely passes as a comedy. Anyone who has played an old school JRPG like Dragon Quest or Final Fantasy will immediately relate and catch all the references that this anime has to the games. From the King giving 10 gold and saying the same line "Farewell, Brave Warriors!" to walking into a residence and taking their stuff, to emphasizing the value of the Elixir, to reviving a dead character at a church, to buying a Crystal Staff when you find one in the dungeon all pays homage to JRPGs. The first half was great, the second not so much, but it had its moments. I gotta love how the Paladin takes self-sacrifice so seriously. In RPGs that involve a Paladin, self-sacrifice is a thing where they take to the front and tank the hits. In Diablo II, one of the first skills he learns is "Sacrifice" where they deliver a stronger attack at the cost of health. I had a lot of laughs watching this series. The OVAs were what I expected them to be since they weren't aired on TV, but hey. LEGENDARY BIKINI ARMOR! How did I know that was going to happen? At least I got to hear Yoko Hikasa's sexy voice. ^_^ |
