| Do it this way, read the manga first and if you want more of Sousei then watch the anime, it's how i did it. I liked the anime more this way cause i can see what they are trying to do and why they introduce some characters first and more. The manga is very good but the anime isn't to shabby itself. You probably will find the manga to be much better but the anime will quench your thirst for more sousei. I personally read the manga first |

| I only watch the anime but it is not "really bad", it's just very "meh" a lot of the times. Gotta admit it's the ships that are helping me through this show. The battles are not interesting but the SOL parts are decent. |

| I recommend to read the manga because has more story and interesting plot compare to the anime. then if care enough you can watch the anime which pretty enjoyable..even half of the show is fillers. well the manga is above the anime in everthing. |

| The anime becomes unbelievably bad and boring once they start the filler/original episodes (after episode 20) But even non-filler episode was not that good. It was ok. There are way better anime out their like Magi, Nanatsu no Taizai, Hunter x Huneter 2011, Arslan Senki, Akatsuki no Yona etc. Any of these are miles better if you are looking for action/magic/adventure anime. If you want to watch this anime then watch it until episode 20 and drop it, the anime becomes so bad after that |

| I read the first chapter of the manga and enjoyed it. RN I'm watching the anime and I think I'd still enjoy it. I hear it eventually stops following the manga, but I don't think that's a terrible thing. I think the manga may be better, but the anime is really good too. I personally prefer watching the anime as reading a manga with a lot of action but not seeing it in motion is a little disorientating for me. I plan on reading the manga after I finish with the anime. |

| Huh... interesting, I didn't know the anime and manga had actual differences and different endings? I just got to finish watching the anime, had this in my To Watch Later for years... . Also, judging by 7+ years, there's zero chance of this series getting an alternative anime version based on the manga, lol so I guess I gotta go check out the manga. |
