Since this is a game of cat and mouse, this card is extremely important.

Chrollo has the ability to teleport others (at least) to different places, without the book. Now this could be:

1) A foreshadowing of book mark, which actually was created around the time in Yorknew at the very least.
2) A completely separate ability not requiring the book (for someone with many abilities, people ironically tend to forget he can have more than one skill.

ٍSo what's the point of all this chase, if, when Hisoka catches Chrollo, he can simply push him back at will? Can't he just teleport a bomb to where Hisoka is?

Do you think Togashi himself forgot about this power? Is it gonna come into play?

Don't know it was in Yorknew, Nobunaga attacks Hisoka, and Chrollo teleports him away.

I checked the 11 version and Chrollo was indeed holding the book, but still, the point stands.
And it's still easier than Black Voice to teleport the bomb to Hisoka

You're definitely right how can I forgot about something like this. This ability will make a big difference in this fight, maybe it's the fifth and the final ability for Chrollo and if I remember right Chrollo said he will use five abilities against Hisoka !!

There's probably some weird condition on it similar to Kurapika's Troupe only stuff.

Nobody seemed at all surprised by it when it happened, as if it were something he used before.

Nen is spiritual and the judge of what is difficult or gives things power feels very sentient and even godlike, as opposed to a video game which is more black and white with very technical rules. So that allows for more reasonable levels of power amplification, and as we have seen, nobody successfully tries to exploit the system of Nen. It just probably can't be done and would be like the equivalent of fooling God.

So a very specific condition can be used and "God" would accept the condition and strengthen his ability accordingly. The way he used it just seemed so effortlessly strong, especially considering who he used it on, that I can't see him being able to do it to just anyone.

as for the 5th move, I predict it's something we are familiar with. maybe he can do something cool with Blinky, somehow it seems like it can be used against Bungee Gum. How exactly I don't know.

My original thought was that Chrollo lost all of the abilities in his book when his Nen was sealed by Kurapika. We haven't seen him use a familiar ability since then. This could be why he fled from Hisoka for so long (not just to get the "right" abilities to defeat Hisoka).

The only possible contradiction to my hypothesis so far is Sun and Moon. We don't know the exact timing of the elder's death. If Chrollo stole the ability after Kurapika's nen was exorcised then my hypothesis stands. If not the only other explanation I could think of, which is a bit of a stretch, was that Sun and Moon remained in the book even after Kurapika's nen was exorcised because of how powerful it became after the Elder's death.

I don't think Neon got her ability back. But I guess it could be lost for good?

Last time we saw her was during a brief shot in the Greed Island arc, after Chrollo's nen was sealed by Kurapika. I don't believe seen her since Kurapika's nen was exorcised though. Perhaps that is when her nen would return? Or, like you said, it could be lost forever. Womp womp.
