The first time was exposed to mystery shows was when I was a kid watching Scooby doo , that show was top notch . I think mystery should always have you asking yourself who did this ? What is the reason behind this ? Who would benefit from doing this or that ? And how ? you can feel the tension throughout the whole series and makes you excited when the mystery is about to be revealed cause you are not sure what's behind this whole mystery occuring . How the mystery is resolved is something important for me . There is this airing show mayoiga that everybody is saying is bad , it's about the characters who seek the nanaki village . Then without any spoilers as you would expects the mystery kicks in and insane stuff start happening when they reach the village. However , the viewer cannot still know why is this happening and for what reason. And this has kept me hooked despitw the annoying characters , i am intereseted to see how the whole thing is resolved . People complain oh characters are annoying . But who cares ? The characters aren't really the center of the show , it's the mystery of the village itself . |

It´s totally worth watching even after Tsubasa turns into a Neko! lol I'm continuing watching it , But was not sure if i should keep on with it at first . But neko hanekawa gives me a motivation ! (She's also voice by one of my favorite VAs) Thing is I'm not a fan of shows saturated with dialogues . But at least monogatari gives some laughs and characters are liked . The show is semi-episodic imo but some oddities are interesting . I think i might finish it today. EDIT : Just saw ep 12 , what a cute and heart-warming ending for senjougahara and koyomi lying on the grass gazing at the skies , i'm in tears hitagi's past and her relationship with koyomi and how it affected her . No stay cool man , hanekawa is best girl , don't Give much attention to hitagi . Ahh , why are all the girls good in this anime . |

Story is about a detective agency with supernatural powers . The show up till now have been giving a spotlight for each character of the agency in each episode to introduce us to them and give them some characterization. The plot might not advance quickly in this cour, but it'll definitely advance in the 2nd cour planned in October . The mix of comedy and seriousness ( though some have complained about it ) i find it fine . Plus the characters are like-able like Dazai and Yosano lol sorry if I spoiled something . Btw characters are based on real life japanese authors and writers so their quirks and personalities and events that happen to them are somehow in a way related to their real-life counterparts . Another thing I like is that this show actually made me look up japanese literature and read a bit about it . |
