I remember how two years ago someone reposted on many sites fake synopsis of Buddy Complex which was actually edited plot description of first episode of Zegapain. This synopsis of just lazy and it doesn't mention that both main characters have crush on same teacher. |

| I never read the book, but when I check Sei Hatsuno wikipedia page, the first and fourth book got nominated in Japanese Mystery Novel Award. First book nominated in 2008 for best short story, and the fourth book in 2013 for best novel. I think that's enough reason to watch |

With 13 episodes the anime is often quite different from the LN. It's usually best to think of them as two different things. Either way, not a strong start and looks pretty droppable even in what looks like yet another weak season. |

The designs of the show aren't reflect of the book (yes, it's a real novel) cover designs that are kind of realistic-ly and josei-lite no moe at all. Not sure why they chose these designs. It seems unfitting to the premise and characters. The girl is supposed to be the boy's Watson. |
| I was just curious how generic this anime is, I'm not actually interested, especially finding out what it's about. Not saying it sounds bad, just not my cup of tea. I've already watched enough slice of life, and growing up in a catholic family has made me a little bit homophobic. I support gay people and their rights, but I get pretty uncomfortable seeing them in action, or even just flirting |
