| Hello, I'm searching for a manga (or maybe anime) series where a female main character is solving cases of crime in detective-like manner. It would be nice if is would include mystery content (may also be fantasy). I also really enjoy the style of Umineko but I won't expect there is something similar. And of course, if it's a manga it must be available in english because I have no intention to read on screen. If it's an anime it may also be in japanese with subs. |

| The OP asks for "a manga (or maybe anime) series." Mine Fujiko is an original program by director Yamamoto Sayo and scriptwriter Okada Mari derived from the original Lupin III manga and anime series. The other two I mentioned adapted a manga and a light novel respectively. Nijuu Mensou no Musume employs characters that first appeared in the novels by Edogawa Rampo with permission from his estate. |
