Light Yagami from Death Note
MC from Chaos Dragon (I don't recommend it though)
The assasins from Akame Ga Kill
Koko Hekmatyar from Jormungand (Only revealed at the end)

Characters similar to Kiritsugu are kind of rare(It's part of why people like him so much) and the ones listed here are only about 70% similar at most .

Kiritsugu is a very rare character to find.

On a side note, why does it say Irisviel VON EINZBERN is his wife but keep his daughter in a spoiler tag? Kinda pointless if you ask me.

Well, thanks for making a new challenge for my brain. Only now I realized that there isn't any other character like Kiritusugu. (that I know of)

Akame Ga Kill might be what you want, the group in general shares similar viewpoints of Kiritsugu (kind of). Although I don't share the hype of most people. It's an alright anime, but not great.

Because it's a spoiler of Fate/Stay Night. If you read the visual novel, you are not supposed to know that she is his daughter until very late in the story.

Because it's a spoiler of Fate/Stay Night. If you read the visual novel, you are not supposed to know that she is his daughter until very late in the story.

I meant the VON EINZBERN part is a bit of a giveaway.

In Fate/Stay Night, you don't even know that Kiritsugu was involved in the last war (Fate/Zero), much less that he was involved with the Einzberns. That's why it must be tagged as a spoiler.

Kiritsugu has a very rare personality and finding someone sharing the same traits as him is quite a hard task.

Akame ga Kill has some characters that have almost the same ideals as him.

Apart from that, the closest I could find (well, different from the above mentioned anyway) was Zarik Kajiwara, from 'expelled from paradise'.

Yeah I know, but you also have to consider that anyone from that family has Einzbern at the end, so she could be unrelated to Kiritsugu or Irisviel. Or she could be the daughter of Irisviel but not of Kiritsugu (remember that they aren't exactly humans?)

The thing about that spoiler is that if you experience the Fate universe as you should (read the visual novel first and only then watch fate/Zero) you are not supposed to know that she is kind of little sister of Shirou, nor that Kiritsugu had so many secrets about him.

I think we could count Kokutou from Kara no Kyoukai
There has been a conversation between Kokutou and Shiki in the 2nd movie about sacrificing one being for the seek of humanity. At the end, Kokutou said that he would kill himself if he was a threat to the world. It's no wonder since Kokutou is written by Typemoon as well.

Well, doesn't Kirei tell Shirou that his father was on the last Holy Grail War?
Also, I can remember something about he "joining forces from a far away kingdom", that also fits Illyasviel's story.
But I'm not sure, I watched Fate/Zero before reading the VN, so I might be wrong.

Try Zetsuen no Tempest - a few characters have the sacrifice the few to save the many attitude, on a large scale like sacrifice half the world to save the other half. Also another guy doesn't care what the cost, he just wants revenge, even if it means destroying the whole world.
