I'm looking for a obscure anime for me to spam watch well I play some online games. Of course as the title implies I am also looking for it to be strange, not quite "I'm so strange I'm destroying the plot" level of strange, I do like to know whats happening, but...

Actually I think you get the point if your still reading this, thanks, and I am truly grateful for the help. (dang it I've gone formal! Run everybody run!)

But in all seriousness if you have any recommendations please leave a reply.

Thanks Wingmaster6

what's the point of asking for some unique and obscure if you're going to use it as background noise?

you could use garbage like fairy tail or something as background noise

I don't actually use the show as the background noise, I tend to pay more attention to the show then the game. You see in the game I am just going to grind, so the show will be on top of my attention list

+1 SkullMan, it's a little slow to start but it really picks up later on and you'll get the biggest wtf when you find out what it's a prequel to

My own recommendation would have to be for Genius Party and Genius Party Beyond. Neither is particularly long and you'll probably crank through them in a couple sessions as each is a series of short anime versions of one-shots. Each story usually has a very unique artstyle and a story that'll make you need to rewatch to really get it. It's a trip.
