Not that I'm defending any particular hypothesis, but it is possible for Eto to be uncertain of whether Seidou would show up, even if she did tell him to go. Eg Aogiri might have left Seidou some choice, so he could have technically refused. Or they weren't sure whether he would be physically capable of going, as he did look pretty...unhealty. There is also the probability that Eto is playing a game of her own.

nah, it's ridiculous. I was on here earlier and I hadn't seen the summaries on page 100, just the picture, then when I came back and saw the first post on page 101 I assumed there weren't any summaries yet.

Well Makyun was able to tell the difference between Owl and Tooru. Plus they've been doing translations for a long time so they're experienced.

The CCG members are given orders.

Communication: Associate Special Class Atou, continue making your way to the center.
Communication: The Mado Squad are to report immediately after you get an idea on your opponent’s abilities.

[Mutsuki’s Side]

Mutsuki and Kanae have a confrontation.

Urie and Shirazu are also engaging in combat.

Saiko runs white shouting.

The members of the Atou Squad watches Sasaki fight.

At the next moment, Kanae gets tackled by someone.

The one who tackled him was Torso. Kanae falls to the ground with Torso on top of him. Torso relentlessly punches his face.

Kanae: What are you…!! Autsch! Autsch!
Mutsuki: …!
Torso: *wheezes*

Torso faces Mutsuki.

Torso: (You’re safe.)
Torso: I’m relieved.

But Mutsuki runs away.

Torso: Ah… Why?!
Torso: …Oh! It’s me! I’m Torso!!
Torso: I’m sorry for hitting you last time! Hey, Tooru!

Kanae’s face is all beaten up.

Kanae: I won’t… let you… escape…!

Mutsuki gets pierced from the back with Kanae’s kagune.

[Kanou’s Side]

Kanou is looking at multiple monitors.

Kanou: Hmm… For the most part, it seems the situation of the battle is moving along.
Kanou: Eto-san!
Kanou: What do you think? Isn’t it about time that we let out the ‘Owl’?

Eto: Sounds good.
Eto: Say…
Eto: Think you can do it? Takizawa-kun.

Seidou: Hurry up. I’m hungry.

Seidou is shown, he now has white hair and his nails are black.

Naki amuses me like always, gosh he already forgot about Akira! And poor Hinami is taking a trip through memory lane.

So since Ayato has taken over Touka's alias and even Hinami adapts to that, does that mean that Touka has a different mask now?

Sasaki is pwning his enemies Arima style! This is such a big foreshadowing of what we can expect from him. I think they will promote him after this mission.

Now I'm getting really curious about the pages.

Btw: I'm really starting to believe that Floppy is Amon.

Still, it might have been better to make a cover that reflects more either the current plot or at the very least some of the peculiarities of the manga. This cover just seems like pandering to the masses or just taking the easy path.

I feel like you shouldn't criticize(or give your opinion about) something you know nothing about. You can say that you like something or you dislike something you know nothing about, but don't try to tell anyone how he should do something to make it better.

Well, I don't, but I still am entitled to my opinion and have the freedom to share it. You (or Ishida for that matter) can ignore it, if you want.

Oh, and I'm sure making covers is not something so specific that there are no transferable skills involved. Hence, even if I haven't made a single cover in my life, I still might be able to provide a good critique.

Edit: Maybe after some more real life experience, you will understand how criticism and opinions work. Hang in there!

Yeah that's true it might have been better to make one that represented the current plot, at least that's how IShida did it with TG. But I am really digging the parallelism thing, it's like when you have the two mangas you can make a comparison of how each character changed....oh so probably we will know about Rize by chapter 5....and does this mean that :Re will have 14 vol too?

I can see a Hinami cover for the next volume given the potential conflict she will "maybe" have with Akira in the next few chapters. Maybe getting to see Sasaki too.

I think that when Amon shows up, our dear Urie will end up leaving with him. Because i don't think that Amon ended up staying with Aogiri and Urie will see in him someone that could potentially help him take his revenge. But who knows what Amon is up to.

Yeah honestly what's on the cover doesn't matter too much to me as long as it looks cool. Looks like he's planning to highlight a bunch of the old returning characters, or like Gaby said maybe it will be a parallel with the TG covers. Either way the art is awesome, love how Touka looks on it.

My first thought on the vol 2 cover: Holy crap who is that feminine looking guy?!

After reading the posts... ooh... Does Ishida realize that Touka looks very... not Touka there?

I like the parallelism idea for the volumes and nice to see the old characters. yaaay!!!

I feel like I want to hibernate... and wake up 3 years later, looking as pretty as I do now XD so I can enjoy TG re all in one go like TG.

I feel you....I feel myself getting old with exasperation in waiting for the next chapter, and when I have it, it's like waiting the whole year for chocolate cake and only having one thin slice...it is not enough, and again the waiting...to only have 20 pages.
And I not mean any disrespect for Ishida, I know he must be working really hard, but times like this I am thankful for novelists, who only published their books with a complete story..of course only if they are not planning to write a trilogy or in rowling case a septology :D Now I am rambling :P

lol am I the only one who totally expecting Touka to be on the 2nd volume cover.

She's associated with the tarot no 2, the high priestess, after all so it all makes sense to have her as the V2 cover.

Besides, V1 if I'm not mistaken ended at chapter 9, with her re-appearance in the last page so Ishida as usual had all this planned ahead. It's also a nice parallel to the sequel but I don't think he will completely follow the prequel since the Quinx must have their own volume cover later.
