In Psycho-Pass 2 OP https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wcuSCKsplbM there is a moment at 0:29 where Akane was touching her face from the side. I tried doing this on myself and it's doesn't feel right. So my question, why is she doing this like that, does it make her prettier or i'm just high and shouldn't ask these kind of questions?

All I know is that I much preferred PP1 ED.

Oh...and yeah, the sun is my guess *shrugs*. That repetitive looping doesn't work for me.

There's bound to be some meaning to it. Just like repeating handshake at the very beginning - we shake hands, shake hands and then boom we pull guns on each other. Same with her hand.
It might become more apparent as the series progress. Too early to say right now, but it's normal for anime like Psycho-Pass to have OP with symbolism in it.

It looks like she is using her hand to shield her eyes from the sun to me. I do that sometimes, but usually with my left hand.
