You Fail if you haven't watched Last Exile 1) The animation quality is amazing, everything looks beautiful and it seems to fit with the Steampunk genre that it has. 2) It has a fantastic roster of characters, I personally fell in love with every single one of them. It also has great character development. 3) It has one of THE MOST satisfying scenes in an anime, I'm going to go out and say it was the MOST satisfying scene I've ever seen. 4) You also fail if you watch it dubbed, as one of the best characters is made to sound like a total creep. While in the sub he sounds childish, as he's supposed too.

You fail if you haven't seen Black Lagoon. 1. It has a great storyline. 2. The action scenes are second to none in my opinion. In the anime that I have seen, this is the most kick ass stuff I've watched. 3. It's just way too cool to pass up. Watch it so you don't fail :).

You fail if you haven't seen Air TV Reason 1: A multi-layered non-linear storyline that makes for repeat viewings where more of the pieces assemble every time Reason 2: One of the most gorgeous blend of animation and musical scores you'll ever see. Reason 3: Episodes 11 and 12. Bring tissues. Lots of them.

| You fail if you haven't seen "Yu-g-oh!: the Abridged Series" I know it's just a praody of the famous children's card game, but all must watch! 1. Amazing voice talent 2.Hilarious rendition of the anime 3.Super special awesome! okay, I'll be serious now. You fail if you haven't seen Gravitation 1. Everyone can watch it without being scarred.*Cousin and BF watched it and they liked it.* 2.If you're a yaoi fan and you want something to help you convert a fellow anime fangirl of yours, this is your anime. 3.Absolutely hillarious! | You fail if you haven't seen This Ugly Yet Beautiful World. 1. Fanservice...lots of it. 2. Really romantic and touching. 3. Brief, but OMGWTFBBQ AWESOME action sequences, to spruce up the already epic story. You fail if you haven't seen Elfen Lied. 1. Gut-wrenching story with certain philosophical elements. (What is a monster vs. what is human) 2. Really good, albeit extremely gory action sequences, all in good animation quality. 3. Some of the best music you have ever heard in any anime. You fail if you haven't seen Utawarerumono. 1. A great variety of main characters so everyone will find someone they like. 2. A great balance of action, comedy and even some romance! 3. One of the most interesting plots you will ever witness, with a twist in there somewhere. Oh, and yeah, ditto on Gravitation. My bf started watching it and at first was a little freaked with the yaoi aspect because he thought it was a joke XD But then we watched the whole thing together and had a great time. It's hilarious and can get a little disturbing towards the end (and no I don't mean the yaoi aspect...but yeah.) |

You fail if you haven't seen Gakuen Utopia Manabi Straight! 1. This is the show you should watch to remind you of high school, not Azumanga Daioh... unless you were constantly high. 2. Despite the loli character designs, the characters are not of the down-syndrome moe variety, so you can't use that excuse 3. Best finale ever.

You fail if you haven't seen Honey & Clover >> It's possibly one of the most realistic and amazing romance stories I've ever watched. It's not like those "high school romance" stories. it's much more mature, and the whole series spans over many years >>There is enough humor in the show to balance out all the drama >>The music inserts are fantastic and make the whole show a lot better. Oh, and a lot of the songs are from Spitz... and Spitz is amazing. >>All the characters are quite loveable and you really sympathize with them (at least I did) oh, and i agree with AIR =) ... i might post another one at another time... oh, i havent watched or read black cat.. but many people have told me not to watch the anime o.o;;; they all said black cat manga >> anime by a longshot. though i wouldn't really know myself haha

This thread contains some fail. D: Anyways, you fail if you haven't seen... SIMOUN 1. This is the second most beautiful anime I've ever seen, right after Millennium Actress. 2. The characters are top quality, and you really can become emotionally attached to them. 3. The world and atmosphere of the show are excellent. You doubly fail if you haven't seen... OH! EDO ROCKET 1. I laughed. I cried. I was accused of cosplaying. 2. Adult relationship in my animu? How can this be!? 3. Seriously though, this is the best show I've seen in a long time. It excels at both comedy and drama, and doesn't suffer from plot pacing issues. The characters themselves are emotionally believable, a feeling which anime generally fails at creating. The music is also great: I like the OP and the 2nd ED, and the background music is really well done too. The VA work is also top notch. The art style is rather unique, and they really made an effort on facial expressions, at least for he more drama-oriented characters. The subs are pretty off at times though...D:

You fail if you haven't watched/started watching: Moyashimon 1. It portrays humor that never fails to make you smile, but doesn't over do it so you're rolling around in your chair, not being able to breath. 2. It's educational, you actually learn quite a few things about agriculture and other branches of biology. 3. The guy can see bacteria, and the way the bacteria are portrayed is pretty creative ;D Actually does this thread really belong here? It's just people answering a question with minimal interaction. I think this should be moved to spam (although it's a pretty nice idea)

I think it's fine in this forum. i mean there are other threads with minimal interaction that are still in the anime forum.. such as "last anime you finished" or "your favorite ops/ends" those types of threads are similar to this one. at least thats how i see it |

You FAIL if you have not seen: Juuni Kokki 1. It dominated the 2003 ARC (okay, jury/whatever) awards 2. It beats everything else to a bloody pulse 3. Character development and story line was brilliant Planetes 1. It's friggen groundbreaking 2. Even though science fiction, does not defy scientific laws 3. It has a bit of everything 4. Romance does not make one cringe Seirei no Moribito 1. Animation is breathtakingly beautiful 2. Balsa is the best anime heroine EVER 3. Episode 3 contains the best fight scene I've ever seen in anime (okay, I apologize for blatantly and shamelessly listing my favorites, but I really do believe that you fail if you have not seen these, so go watch them.) By the way, I love this thread! ^ - ^

You fail if you haven't watched Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha (all 3 seasons) 1. It has it's fair share of action, a decent plot, lovable characters and good animation. 2. The best main character ever (referring to Feito-chan, not Nanoha). 3. MOE . Not recommended to people with weak hearts, this can easily cause "death-by-moe" xD

You fail if you haven't watched RahXephon. > Good marriage between mechas and music. > The psychological development of the characters are impressive. > Sakamoto Maaya. When Maaya is on an anime, just bow and consider it a masterpiece. :D > Storyline: if you like a brain-challenging story AND that still makes sense, you will love RahXephon. > The last: it is ALL THE WAY BETTER THAN EVA! XD
"A lesser man might call it a day and bask in the echoing voices of cheer and celebration. A lesser man might delight in the moment, knowing he's the ultimate hero, a benevolent Big Brother to all and an inspirational light of hope in the darkest of times. But Superman is not a lesser man. He renews his vigorous patrol of our world for wherever the battle for trust and justice must be fought, Superman will be there. Forever...and always."- Superman #150

You fail if you haven't watched Inu Yasha.....just kidding. You fail if you haven't watched Monster! 1. The characters are the greatest. You can't help but fall for them, even if they're not bishie. Not only are the characters great, but developed great as well. 2. It leaves you on the edge of your seat. Theres lots of suspense and plot twists and more. I couldn't stop watching. I saw the first 12 episodes straight and didn't want to stop. 3. I didn't think I would like it but I was wrong. Everything was done very well. The music, the voices, the plot. It's a long seris but no annoying fillers. All the characters are connected somehow. This is a must watch! If you don't think so, then you FAIL BIG TIME.
