| @HMP13, @Mizeteo, I need more information to be able to figure out the cause behind the issue. - Are you both on the latest version (v1.1.3)? If not, do update. - Are you able to use other online functions such as Search or Torrents? Make sure Taiga is not blocked by a security application. - Did you change any settings after updating? - Do you see any error on the status bar as you try to synchronize? - Do you see any error in Taiga.log file (it should be placed next to Taiga.exe)? |

| My queued updates are not able to update to MAL. Changes I make on the MAL website are updated to Taiga when I synchronize, but changes made in Taiga are not updated to MAL. I can't delete anything from the queued update list because of an error "History cannot be modified while an update is in progress." This started yesterday under the previous update & persists today under the current update. No errors are visible when hitting the synchronize button & nothing appears in the log file. |

It seems like I just need to update the app. Haven't closed/shutdown the app and my pc for 2 weeks so I wasn't able to check for updates. Sorry for the trouble. I'd like to ask a question. I tried to use the check update thing in the app. It did download the update but nothing happens after that. Am I suppose to restart the app or it automatically updates the file and the version after downloading? It gets a little confusing if nothing happens after downloading updates. Thanks |

| @HMP13: If Taiga is downloading your list, then there's nothing on the queue to be updated. Also note that it's not possible to synchronize both MyAnimeList and Hummingbird at the same time. You need to choose one or the other. @onthespoke: If you have "Synchronize automatically at startup" option enabled, disable that first. Then restart Taiga, and you should be able to delete that "Selector Infected WIXOSS" from your History, which should fix the issue. Another solution would be to edit Taiga/data/user/{username}/history.xml manually. Under queue, find the item with the ID of "22273" (WIXOSS) and remove that line. @Mizeteo, @Aru_: Normally it automatically closes Taiga, updates the files and restarts the application. I wonder if there's something that prevents the automatic restart on your computer. I'll look into it today. |
| Hey le_ikari, thanks to you, I now figured out the issue that HMP13 and onthespoke experienced as well. Looks like I made a mistake and didn't consider the case where some people are going to have queued updates as they upgrade to the new version. Sorry about that. 3 (add to list) is now 5, 5 (remove from list) is now 6, and 7 (update) is now 8. I'll include a backwards compatibility patch in the next update, which should help at least a couple of people. |
| @Aru_: Yep, that seems to be the case. I'll try to fix it for the next version, though you'll still have experience the same thing one more time. :) @raposazul: I've been planning to drop XP support for a while, though I haven't given up on it yet. While it does have its issues, Taiga should still work under XP. I tested it myself, and I know of a couple of other XP users as well. May I ask which Service Pack are you on? You can find more information about format strings on the FAQ page, though that doesn't cover what variables mean (maybe I should add descriptions to the relevant menu). | I have come across an issue where the context menu (play episode) appears beyond the right side of the screen for long running anime series. It is not breaking the application but it does make it harder to find specific episodes. I have not tested this with dual monitors. |
| Have some weird bug. I try to use play next on No Game No Life and the first episode is already watched, but it still gives me the first episode once again and it is being detected as first episode. Also play #2 episode plays 1st episode, play #1 episode plays 1st episode too, while for example play #3 plays 3rd episode just fine :D Names of files: [Underwater-FFF] No Game No Life - 01 (720p) [27AAA0A0].mkv [Underwater-FFF] No Game No Life - 02 (720p) [F2DA1344].mkv Also the bug above about huge list in "play episode" gave me an idea, that for very big episode count you should split it in hundreds and tens submenus. Like #1-#100 then #101-#200 and inside them #1-#10, #11-20 submenus and finally inside them acutal episodes. I doubt that anyone is using it that way, but it will look better I think :) |

| Taiga seems to have problems finding certain torrents that are uploaded with their slang names. A good example of this is Futsuu no Joshikousei ga [Locodol] Yatte Mita which is being released by horriblesubs as just "Locodol", while it appears on the torrent list, it doesn't show up as a series that you're actively watching (is greyed out) ImoCho also had this problem. |

| I've just made a request for it to be added to MAL DB. Until then, you can add "Locodol" as an alternative title for the series, and it will work fine. |
| The "Media player must be in focus" option under "List updates and automatic sharing" is great and all but when used with Crunchyroll it doesn't detect the media player when in full screen. In other words when in full screen and the Flash Player is in focus it doesn't start the delay timer. Only when I have the browser (Firefox) in focus with the video (not full screen) does the delay timer begin counting down. I haven't tested Chrome yet or any other streaming site but I assume it'll behave the same. I would appreciate if this was fixed as I like the idea of having the "media player in focus" option but without full screen it's pretty pointless. Edit I just tested Chrome and it works like intended. This is mainly because Chrome doesn't have to go into a separate Flash Player window to go full screen. So this issue is mainly a Firefox thing. Stinks cuz Firefox is my primary browser... |

| What's the filename you're having trouble with, Sakimichi? Just tested HorribleSubs' releases (e.g. "[HorribleSubs] Persona 4 - The Golden Animation - 01 [1080p].mkv") and they were recognized correctly. PS: We have a separate thread for recognition problems, so it's better to post them there rather than here. |
| Skype mood update doesn't work too well. Sometimes it updates, sometimes it doesn't. I update the mood message with foobar2000 as well, and it has some issues, but even after turning off foobar2000, sometimes Taiga won't update the message, even after I restart Skype, Taiga and the media player, so I'm not sure what's wrong with it. |
| No torrents are downloaded unless there's a filter that selects them, so there must be a filter that's amiss. My guess would be one of the following: a) There's a general filter that selects everything under plan-to-watch. b) The filter limited to Akame ga Kill has multiple conditions (e.g. one for fansub group, another for video resolution) but it's set to match any condition rather than all conditions. If you can't figure it out by yourself, send me your Taiga/data/settings.xml via PM (remove your password before doing so) and I'll take a look. (Note to myself: Make sharing filters easier. Maybe I should add an import/export feature?) |
