| Infinite you don't get Kawamori's style He loves to make something different (most of the time just puts robots or music in a setting that would not usually work) Music in Macross instead of only giant robots and battleships Entertainment nazis in an idol show instead of just seeing the idols getting better and better + some lame contests (AKB0048) Mechs in a world full of historical characters (Nobunaga the Fool) Having "sex" so mechs can transform (Aquarion) You don't see all of these things in your average mecha show Sure different doesn't mean good but it's a nice change from all the usual stuff. |
