| For some reason, I drew very strong parallels between that series and Berserk. Completely different settings, but they both follow a similar struggle and gradual climb to power. The theme of conquest is generally shared between the two, but not just any portrayal of conquest. A gritty and detailed story of how someone builds power. The shrewd intellect and the heart of it, and where it falters. |
| Eden of east The mc's personality is different from Lelouch (but he's very likeable) but they're both fighting against the world, they both made themselves look bad to save people they're both scapegoat. |
