Maybe we should distinguish "easy to read book with very sexy characters" from well written books with a very original story.

Hey, I said good, not amazing. I wasn't claiming it to be on par with Jane Austen or Dostoevsky.

I also enjoyed "Life of Pi". The whole confusion or linking between humans and beasts was fascinating.

I know I posted here already, but I put nine stories on hold and am currently reading Gullivar's Travels by Jonathan Swift. Although it's supposed to be a social satire, I'm reading it for what it is: a good adventure story. I finished the first part of it last night. If you can swallow wordy books easily, I recommend it.

I've just begun another Glen Cook series, since lately I've been reading some Star Wars stuff and I longed for a change :P I've stumbled upon it searching for similar stuff to Steven Erikson's, and since I've borrowed the Black Company to a friend and already read the " Instrumentalities of the Night" series ... guess I'll give it a try

It's an omnibus of the three main sequence novels from the Dread Empire series, so it should last at least for a week ... hopefully ^_^ ( I've got exams, too >< ). I havent read 100 pages, so I cant give an opinion yet, but I'll post about it after the first part , A Shadow of All Night Falling .

Been reading some of the Sherlock Holmes short stories.

Oh, and I just realized that Edgar Allen Poe was a lolicon. He married a 13-year-old cousin of his who looked really young for her age, which I knew about, but never connected the dots until now.

The Deverrrrrrryyyy (Deverry) Series, an epic fantasy based series set in the 1000s with lots of flashbacks into the past. It's really good. So far I am only on the 2nd book: Darkspell. There is 14 books in total in the entire series so I guess I have a lot of good reading ahead of me =).

Not really reading anything else atm, waiting for The Enchanters End Game, by David Eddings to hurry up and be returned by some $^$%@ from the library so I can read it.
