I've never been called cute; only "You look nice" and other basic things a girl would tell other guys. Oh, and this may seem a bit conceited, but every time I go on Chatroulette, I get people who say I'm cute. And they always stick around to chat or... do other things with me. Sooo... I don't think it's a particularly a bad thing. And I'm going to make an assumption, call bullshit if you want, I don't really care, but I have a suspicion that half the people here have never even been called cute by a girl. And are thus creating some sort of subconscious distaste and qualm with the term out of jealousy and disappointment, putting up a mental negative bias in order to make themselves feel better about not ever being called cute. | Sure is a whole lot of jealousy or paranoia in this thread. Some guys are just cute; it doesn't mean I think they're ugly, and it doesn't mean I wouldn't date them. It isn't something I would actually use as a compliment directly to a person though. It's kind of an awkward compliment due to people using it as an insult, and even when in a friendly context, it's still awkward to properly say. Take Hao for example, he's a professional Dota 2 player. He's cute, and I would totally do him. |
