| rei was indeed the first to start the role, but i felt like nagato really cemented the role by better fleshing her out. that being said, i love all emotionless girls, but reki from hidan no arias my favorite, if only because im addicted to the books like crack for anime only though then the clear winner would have to be either yuki or eucliwood hellscythe, though the main reason i bring up the second one was because i fail to see her mentioned enough thus far... |
Both Ein and Zwei from Phantom. Such incredible writing for these characters. So damn depressing though. Yin is probably my "favorite". Especially love her character design, so simple yet so beautiful. Flatchests <3 Dat development |

| My picks would be Ruri Hoshino from Martian Successor Nadesico, I love how she has a sense of humor about her and is a lot more than the token mysterious introvert girl, especially when she is being a deadpan snarker. Her development is one of the finest that I've seen for an emotionless girl as she seeks to be more than she was made to be and spreads her wings. With that, she grows into a fine, young lady with a good head on her shoulders. Tiffa Adill from After War Gundam X is my next choice, although through first impressions she doesn't seem like much in regards to her personality, but she always seemed to me to be like a butterfly confined within a cocoon and when she breaks free of it, Tiffa shows the kind of girl she truly is, a gentle and kind girl who is a romantic at heart and enjoys life. |
