And here I thought he was actually going to be the leader of the three kids. I wonder what the significance of his eyes are. Should be interesting to find out. |

| OMFG! Another goddamn doujutsu.... Now I really want to see how this Pein's past and how Jiraiya's actions possibly shaped the events of the future. EDIT: also, Konan looked rather reluctant when she was fighting Jiraiya. There was this expression on her face that looked like she was asking to be saved. perhaps she still has some affection towards her former teacher. EDIT 2: I'm also intrigued as to what abilities Nagato's eyes possess. |

| Anyone else get the feeling that Pain is or has a Bijuu Monster in him like Naruto? The eyes kind of gave me the feeling that he either is a Bijuu that has the ability to jump to "special body's" (ones with those piercings on them) or he's a boy that was sealed with one like Naruto. Narutos eyes change when he's using the Kyuubi's power so that's how I came up with this theory. Pains Eyes kind of look like Sanbi no Isonade lol  My second theory is that Pain is the container from which all the Bijuu originally came from. He may be collecting them in order to become a complete person again. The three kids made the comment that they wanted to make all the countrys feel hurt and pain like they went through....maybe Pain released the Bijuu to do just that...and now he wants them back since the countrys sealed the Bijuu into humans like Naruto where they cant harm people. In either case Pain is definitely not your normal Ninja. |

If that where the case then there would be no way Pain could jump into those body's (a body with a Bijuu in it would be forced to share with Pain). I think this is just his unique way of attacking shit (he controls shell body's). Although I suppose if we go with my second theory then that means he has already merged with 6 other bijuu already and is waiting for Naruto's. Somehow we have to tie these theory's in with why Minato showed up and why Sasukes brother is doing what he's doing. I suppose we will all have to wait for more info to be tossed at us by the manga. |

| Naturally, I also thought that maybe Pain and Konan were Minato's former teammates... but I'm glad they aren't. We've already had enough traitors of Konoha, ne? *eagerly awaits more info about Nagato's eye* |
