i wouldn'tsay they really sucked but out of all the characters in Gundam Seed I'vs have to say the 3 Astray pilots sucked.....besides the other common Zaft and Earth Forces who died in almost every episode. |
| Agree about Fa. Mains that are pretty bad/mediocre at piloting.. - Tieria and Setsuna of Gundam 00, bad pilots and completely dependent on their overpowered mechs. One beam spams, the other is just reckless. (Season one speaking anyways) -Judau of Gundam ZZ suffers from the same problem, albeit not as much. -Shinji from NGE, though in his defense, Eva's aren't exactly the most user-friendly mechs to pilot... I'm not going to bother mentioning the side characters, waaay too many. |

| Loussier, Stella Neider, Auel Oakley, Sting All from Gundam Seed Destiny. Sting and Auel are actually decent pilots, but Stella just in their way. |

| Practically almost all of the main SEED and SEED Destiny pilots excluding the Rau Le Creuset Team and Muu la Flaga. Everyone else either relied on their GUNDAM, or got owned within 2 seconds of screen time etc. In 00, Setsuna is probably one of the worst pilots, relying solely on his Gundam's strength to survive, at least as far as the early stage went. That being said he wasn't a bad pilot, it's just that compared to other characters he doesn't match up. The Pilots of the Gundam Team in ZZ Gundam. Shinji. He was just too cowardly and could hardly fight too well because of that most of the time. Damn. I can't think of any other mecha anime with bad pilots that come to mind. I'll update this with the others, haha. But I notice it's mainly Gundam o_0. (Maybe because the experienced pilots get owned so easily in Gundam, while most of the main characters JUST learn to Pilot). Also, about the Patrick thing. He loses to Gundam's all the time because they're Gundam's. Everyone else loses. Remember, he's still an ace, and he still came out alive each time. That goes for something, considering the lack of a good model until the last fight he had in Season 1, which went bad for him due to a lack of luck in that short moment. |

| That can be the worst and the best part. Gundam 00 is at least more accurate in the ability of other pilots than the past few Gundam's. And Patrick was meant to be an ace. It's to show how overpowered the Gundams are in comparison to the normal suits. Meanwhile you have ace pilots so good they can use their Mobile Suits to fight off even Gundams (Graham), the impact enhanced by Ace Pilots like Patrick. |

| Kakizaki Hayao from the original Macross series. He always talked big and scratched(unfortunately not shoted down) first of all pilots. He's sure skilled a bit, but compared to the other named characters he seemed like a looser. |

Just a civilian...he has no special training(like asuka or ren with almost lifetime training) and perhaps he naturaly like a whiny bitch( XD ) Kakizaki more anoying for me, because he got the training and he must have already known that he has no special talent for that. Despite he always runs in the heatest spot of the fight if he can...he's an anoying must be hero type...(but furtunately only a sidekick character:D) |

| I haven't finished Jinki Extend and probably wont, but the main character from it was horrible! I can't think of a worse pilot at the moment. That series is just one of the most recent mech shows I have watched (besides Zeta and OG Gundam). |

True we didn't see much skill from him after he got the Freedom since the Freedom is so superior to most units that he hardly need to do anything but use his close to perfect aim to shoot everyone or the units high speed to slash them apart before they can even react. If I had a unit like that I wouldn't bother whit tactics eighter. I mean it's so superior to most other units that you don't need any. :P Btw. Yeah. Fa sucks. |

| Basic idea is that Nicol used himself as a shield to protect Athrun. ^^" Nicol dodge = Athrun dead. I know it's probably not like that in the secound he jumps infront of Kira how ever psihologically that was Nicols thouts. He tried to sacrofice himself so Athrun can escape before Kira has a chance to strike him down. Also he didn't had his shield any more so he could not block. He didn't intended to get the hit into his cockpit however Kira reacted fast by hiting it. Nicol originally wanted to pearce Kira whit that spike he had. But as an end result Kira dodged and countered. |

| akatsuki is not as awesome as haruki shiki. both are made with 2400K gold. and yet haruki has a better bling factor. plus the fact that it was piloted by a blonde guy. then you get yourself one hell of a pimped out mobile suit. it only lacks spinners and spoilers, and most importantly import babes. |

Kira: As soon as he gets into the cockpit he knows how to use the Strike and how to re write it's OS. Amuro: In a few episodes he masters the Gundam using the manual. Judao: In the third episode he still don't know how to do something as simple as closing the cockpit or turning on the beam saber. He sucks. XD Ok true in reality if I was sudenly goten into a Tank I won't know how to use it...maybe they wear trieing to be realistic...But this is Gundam. It's not suposed to be realistic in thise kind of things. :P |
