Hmm, ALO arc's OP/ED doesn't the same impact as the SAO arc's OP and ED. But I can't really make the full judgement until I see the TV versions with the OP/ED animations in the background.

That dojo fight seems more well animated than the rest of the fights...what the fuck director-san.

For a moment I forgot who the tall green haired guy was.But seeing him next to Recon made me realise.

I dont accept that SAO s as bad as people make it to be,but a lot of times I felt like going to the studio with some "gifts" for their good*sarcasm* adaption.

is there any chance the director's' thinking about how much reality and mmo differ? like what's described in novel.

Maybe he tried to put sprites into realism. "They can only have these animation frames during the game!"

Ah man, I really loved the first opening (as have otheres I bet) but I do wish there to be the same impact that the first opening had. That op was epic and first SAO well.

Only by the descriptions in the LN the fight in the games were better.I understand some of the scenes of the fights being still frames since the LN described it as Kirito and the rest moving faster than what the system could animate but by descriptions alone, the mmo fights were better.

Honestly I think that dojo fight (short as it is) is one of the most awesome and important parts of ALO arc, establishing that Kirito is badass even without SAO... which will come as major plotpoint later.

Kendo...Hmm. Elfs. Okay. His sister? Okay.

So the anime goes more fantasy-like now...

also how weak and frail he is in the real world when sugu kicked his ass xD

this has got to be my least favourite arc of SAO, the only good part is the duals, the ending of vol4 and suguha

who knows? they probably did that on purpose, its been mentioned several times that the graphics of SAO are nothing compared to the real world in vol.9/10

they probably did that to emphasis it

Ah yeah how about no?with how they adapted eps, like Sacchi's for example,I doubt they did it on purpose just for that.

Well I am not sure either but still even if it was their decision it was still bad.

I know that Kirito never looked manly but the LN pics made him look more ...well... manly from his SAO appearance at least.Lets hope that that changes when he is fighting.

It's how the new mmo is.Magic exists and there are several elf tribes that fight each other. There IS a reason Kirito goes into that game but it is a spoiler so better wait and see.
