Spotlight Character: Oyaji (Dennou Coil) MAL Character Information Page: Oyaji MAL Favorites: 4 For the next week I would like to have everyone familiar with Oyaji discuss what they think makes him an exceptional character. What attributes make him stand out in the ocean of interesting characters that exist in the realms of anime and manga. Unlike the other two subjects I will not force this conversation to fall into any set structure. Characters that are nominated typically get here because they are adept at breaking the existing character molds and defying definition. Because of this freedom I encourage everyone to do their very best to stay on topic and keep any and all debate civil. | What is this character again? But seriously I have watched and reviewed Dennou Coil but I just can't seem to remember who/what Oyaji was. One of the most unremarkable characters ever, seeing how I can't even remembers its existence. This is the first but I will have to give this character a 1/10 ^_^ |

| Such a random character. I loved Dennou Coil but this guy... there's nothing to him. I remember he helped them find their dog one time but... that's it. 2/10. |
| Underrated and underdeveloped character in my opinion. Producers should've paid him more attention than to Densuke, imo :P One of several secondary/tertiary characters which potential was wasted. That's why I voted him in the first place. x/10 |

| No... just no. maybe he could have had potential if expanded more (his blush when introduced to Yuuko was impossibly cute) but at the end of the day he's no more than a piece of software. Even Amasawa's furry thingies did more in the show. |

| almost vote don't know this character lol ... poor little guy (mmm software), doesn't have any role after earlier episodes. And the big question in my head why this kind of character show up in here, considered there's a lot suporting character that more unique like densuke, yasako granpa, obaba? |
| Even though he is very polite and useful, he doesn't deserve a spotlight. |
