I love the idea of a bunch of girls with superpowers fighting evil, and a little romance mixed in to, are there any more animes like that?

I dont watch that kind of bs but I have
encountered some anime's that are like that:
Magic Ray earth
Card Captor Sakura
Shugo Chara!
Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha Strikers
Strike Witches

Although it might seem too dark and serious for you, you can try
Claymore. But you'll have a hard time liking it since
your into "those" kind of stuff. In terms of action-wise though,
every bit of it is great.

I recommend Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne. It is a long series like Tokyo Mew Mew, with 44 episodes I think.
Girl is chosen by God to seal demons from paintings, but must masquerade as thief. Best friend is daughter of police chief and vows to catch the thief. Male rival appears, apparently capturing the demons for the devil.
It's really good :)

Also, another anime based on an Arina Tanemura manga which is magical but not exactly magical-girl based is Full Moon wo Sagashite.
Girl has throat cancer but wants to be a singer. Death Gods sent to watch over her to make sure her fate doesn't change, grant her wish of becoming a singer before she dies. Tis 52 eps long, really sweet, sad, romantic and funny.

Wedding Peach is just like sailor moon, or at least I think it is... I couldn't stand to watch more than one episode of either. But they're made by the same people, so there you go.

No one's said it yet? Wow. Futari wa Precure. Two pre-teen girls fight a bad guy force that feeds off of darkness. Like Sailor Moon, arcs are usually divided by the different bad guy henchmen that they fight every week. Lessons like friendship and stuff helps them save the day. And it's animated by Toei (the same studio behind Sailor Moon) to boot. Ultra-long transformation sequences also and cute mascots are part of the show. It has more in common with Sailor Moon, but I like it. And I'm a guy.

Oh, it also has very little fanservice, which is a blessing compared to newer entries in the Magical Girl genre.

I also have a (in serious need of an update that I have been slow to get around to) website devoted to magical girls,. You might find some seried that fit your criteria described there.

Someday I will finish revamping it...

That is because most of the recent "mahou shoujo" series (nanoha, nantsuiro drops, etc) that have come out recently have been aimed at guys, not little girls like a traditional magical girl series. ;_;

I think I remember that being parodied on an episode of Gintama...
