THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.

Man this episode got crazy! Ok first of all if any of this happened to me I would not be so stupid and off guard but then again these girls have no idea about their potentials. I take back what I said about Midori. Turns out she has a psychological deep rooth family cause problem but I think Ran cured it fine. I still do not see Rui's power of ability suppresion but I did see him acting out as a support power up to Ran (their love?). I hate that bitch teacher Ohara sensei I think her name is? You guys that seen this, should know that unless she changes her ways she will have to die by being killed besides she could have killed them easily but somehow did not. It seems also that this show is really not about only telepathy but paranormal powers in many forms. Just in this episode there is mind control, telekinesis, force field production through ones kinesis, levitation to a degree and mind hacking but that is part of telepathy. Does this help as side notes and opinion are always welcomed. Yes, even bad ones cause how else one learns?

It was a bit easy to guess what would happen in this episode but it was actually a very good one. I enjoyed it and even was a bit sad. Hope it picks up a bit more like this.

whoa, whoa whoa! Hold on a minute. Midori, the girl with creepy evil face suddenly charged in, kindly spoken like Tohsaka and Hayate ~ya? What's up with the sudden change ~ya? excuse me there, lol. It just suddenly hits me yaro~ I was first expecting Midori's character to be dark but in just a moment, Ran made her all dere dere.

This episode was really fine although I find it too cliché with all the mushy friendship talk. And the whole building rooftop scene with evil sensei revealing her plans was taking forever.

Can't wait for next episode. I thought this one was gonna turn to be a dark anime like Narutaru but it's now looking bright. Gotta get used to Midori now and Katou Emiri (Ran) is great.

Hm, I love this show, and this episode was great, however, I really had wished Rui wouldn't be some "special" person. I mean come on, the love interest is now a damned walking plot device. It annoys me a little that he's got some "strange power" on top of Ran's and Midori's.

I don't mind the fact that Ran seems to be in love with him; it's not like I was expecting shoujo ai or anything. It's just, I was hoping that the direction the show would take would be two girls with powers with their cheerleader Rui on the sidelines.

Instead: "Oh, holy crap, he's got powers too, he's AMAZING. What's that? He can completely nullify the title character's powers? Wooooow, he's great!"

Go to hell Rui -_-.

OH, on a positive note! KANSAI-BEN MIDORI IS BEYOND AWESOME. I love her so much it hurts.

Still a good one, and this episode pretty much confirmed what I believed about this show.

In every age, in every place, the deeds of men remain the same.

I liked the episode. Saeko gone psycho, nullified main characters, boy love interest who has become a Pandora's box that the story will more than likely revolve around making every battle rely on his devotion to...... wait a minute.... okay, now I'm depressed. Another show that I liked has taken a sour turn. Going to go cry.

I can't help but have impure thoughts about this series, especially when we see Midori's dere side and watch as she stares at Ran longingly. Her resemblance to Mai Otome's Natsuki can't be discounted. I'm going to keep watching with the yuri goggles on.

Rui is worthless.

I'm with you all the way, Censored. This show would be better off with a Ran/Midori pairing. I mean come on, they'd be such a cute couple. <_< I could still just be obsessing over Midori speaking in the Kansai dialect, though.

Midori is so awesome, I absolutely love her. LOL at Saeko going all psycho and Ran's brother throwing her to the ground.

I would love to be able to do that but I just can't pull it off with this one. I just can't see room for it in this one and I have those goggles on 24/7.

I agree that he is worthless in the regards that he is a worthless to the degree that the show would be better without him, but as a character he is without a doubt not worthless. Simply put, I believe he will ultimately become the main focus of the story and that in future battles it will be the "Oh no, we're in trouble! We need Rui!" type of thing. As a nullification and amplification to their powers he is simply that ace in the sleeve. I'd personally prefer he just be thrown off the roof though.

You forgot that she also likes Rin and does the cuttle stuff to Rui when he is with Ran. Yuri? Yeah maybe some but it's shadowy. Don't forget this kids NHK so I heard that they have a reputation from some friends.
Oops! I appear to be incapable of following Rules 16 and 17, so I had to have a mod change my sig for me.

It was an okay episode if you ask me.

Here I was, with my 'Long live dark characters' attitude and then Midori became too bright all of a sudden. Too quickly for my taste, in fact, meh.

The teacher's identity is revealed twice? (Once by Midori and once when her mask falls off)

And what happens to her brother? He just leaves his little sister to go fight this supernatural person who has been murdering people in the town.

Who do they think they're fooling with this garbage.

Aside from the obvious plotholes though, it's kind of enjoyable.

"You have powers, that's so cool!"
EXACTLY, what my reaction would be.

Also, I was almost certain Nidori would be the bad guy. I mean girl. o.0

And I got teary eyed.;_;
ZOMG BFF FOREVERZ.

Old avatar and sig retired for now.
