| Shigurui. There were really some shocking scenes in there. Angel Cop had some similarly disturbing scenes. Gantz was disturbing because of the lows of human nature shown more than anything else. Petshop of Horrors too. I saw Angel Sanctuary when I first started watching anime, and that really disturbed me, especially seeing as I have two brothers with whom I've quite close. I was genuinely appalled. I didn't find Elfen Lied disturbing. I thought it was ridiculous actually. It was like watching one of those cheesy old horror movies where they spray ketchup all over the screen. |

| The most disturbing anime I have ever seen has to be Junjo Romantica but only because it was of no fault of my own, and thankfully i only watched part of the first episode. I started watching it when my friend soph sent me the video with the opening song cut out so then i wouldn't guess it was a Yaoi (even though i should've guessed when she said she'd been major fangirling over it). I thought it was going to be okay until it got to that scene which thoroughly disturbed me. If you've watched it you'll know the bit i mean about the first episode.. You know the bit in the bedroom. When i saw that i wanted to scratch out my eyes, but i had to close the browser because i would've prefered to retain my eyesight. But yeah.. It was horrible unless you're a Yaoi fangirl/boy |
| Hmm Elfen Lied was pretty disturbing, but since I prepared myself before watching it by expecting all that violence, it wasn't THAT bad. I'd say Perfect Blue was much worse because it's more psychological than anything. Also, a friend of mine said the uncut version of Kite was the most disturbing anime he's ever seen. From what he's told me, I don't plan on seeing it anytime soon. I was wondering if anyone here has seen it? |

I mean blood's blood, especially freaking cartoon blood. But the ideas still distorted. |
