| Hello! Anyways, I have been slowing down on my Anime viewing recently and instead taken a more bigger hunt (dare say ravenous) into Manga and...........figures. Right now, nothing is as exiting to me as hunting down Manga volumes and opening packages from my local FedEX and UPS trucks. I'm not sure if there is many, or a lot perhaps, of figure collectors here at MAL but we should see how many there really are. It's become my top favorite hobby in months and I hope someone else can appreciate the love of figures as well :) Anyways, besides figure collecting I also collect other Anime merchandise as well - cups and artbooks, mostly. | @MissileSoup: Ah, that's too bad. I have been wanting to get some NGE figures, though. Especially Asuka ones. @cyberia_knight: I noticed that from your collection :) Unfortunately, I don't really like that line because of the designs - they're just way too off from the characters they're representing. However, I do like&collect Max Factory's similar line to that: Figmas. |

For me, I usually check AmiAmi first, followed by Hobby Search and Play-Asia. Yeah, figurines are pricey. I spent like about USD150 for a Saber Lily Avalon. Wallet hurts like hell, but damn, it's one gorgeous figurine. Though the kimono Ryougi Shiki is another contender in terms of favourites. |

| I started collecting this past year, and got addicted almost immediately ;) - especially once I realized as long as you kept the boxes sealed, you can almost always resell them for close to what you bought them for. I've been picking up all the Madoka figures as they came out (except for the Mami nendoroid - that one disappeared overnight!), and almost every BRS figure that comes out has me itching to dish out more to get them. I've also picked up scale figures for three of my favorite characters: Azusa (K-ON), Sora (Yosuga no Sora), and Kurisu (Steins;Gate). Right now my most wanted figures are the Snow Miku Nendoroid and the RAH Black Rock Shooter figma. (here's my MyFigureCollection profile.) |

Yeah, I don't often get the plush and other things, but I absolutely had to have that one! That show was so cute. ~ I didn't at first, I wanted everything because at the time I was getting more into anime too, so I had seen more newer shows and wanted my favorite characters from all of them.
