| could this club please stop writing like a retard in a "îT's côÔL tô wRiTe tHis wAy"-fucked up manner? And I have nothing against sending mass-messages but if there is nothing for the people getting the mass message to do (like voting or giving their opinion / feedback etc.) or any interesting information to absolutely know about, then it's useless and only annoying to get one of these. Also have the decision made by 'judges' will not satisfy anyone that made the 'best profile'. It will be only those judges personal opinion then and that could be compared to all of the judges writing 'hey buddy your profile looks cool' into the persons comments. In my opinion the best functioning way of deciding something like that is actually the way of public nomination and voting since that is the way your list/signature and in this case profile gets seen and acknowledged by a large part of the active community so you can really be proud to have a 'best profile design' graphic in your profile. Don't flame me for being the bad guy here and see it as criticism you can improve from. If you don't agree feel free to start a discussion here. |

It's probably one of the worst kind s of habits I've seen spreading all over the Internet. At least in my opinion that is. It really drops the seriousness level of this club and if I'd have seen this when wanting to join this club, I'd have not. Just wanting to say is when you do something at least a bit serious refrain from using writing like that because it could keep people away. | Possibly create a thread in the club so that users can say they've updated their profile this way getting the other club members to see their profile ... i did look on the forums but couldn't see a thread for profile updated but if there is then sorry ... kinda hard to find out when the search function is offline XD |

| It would be really helpful if the judges for the profile competition to leave constructive criticism for the profiles that didn't make the top 10. A simple like/dislike list would be fine |

| The constructive criticism is a very valid and good idea. But please do consider that the entries for each month are growing, since the popularity of this Club is growing as well. Each judge has to evaluate every single entry and that already takes up a lot of time what more if there has to be constructive criticism for each entry. If any of you have any suggestions on how we can make this constructive criticism easier to do for the ones in charge please do tell us. But also consider that this is a club and clubs are supposed to be for fun and for the enjoyment of everyone. I don't think that the judges would like to evaluate lets say 20 entries and then add constructive criticism as well especially those who are regular judges each month. Please consider that. But like I said if anyone here could come up with an idea that could be this idea easier for everyone please let us know. |

He had been plagiarizing people's profile layouts without permission and mentioning their names in the credits. There are many victims including myself. Here are some incidents that I would like to take this opportunity to share it with everyone, especially to all the gfx'ers, about him. 01. Regarding my incident, this person sent me a private message, asking me if he can make a layout similar to my Narmaya layout, in which i made it clear to him that he isn't allowed to. Yet, he still made the layout, and to my utter disgust, nominated himself for May's best profile layout design contest. Here's the screenshot of the message: 02. Prior to my incident, I happened to find one of his layouts on Deviantart which looks strikingly similar to my friend's layout. Worse, he did not include my friend's name on his credits and even wrote that the layout "is fully made by himself." Of course, my friend and I confronted him in the comments. He did not reply to our warnings and even deleted the layout from his Deviantart. Luckily, I still have the image so you can take a look for yourself here. 03. After I posted a message in May's best profile layout design contest to report his plagiarism, a gfx'er sent me a private message, informing that he too is a victim as well. Here is a partial screenshot of the message: These are the evidences that I have gathered so far. I do hope that the contest admins can understand and disqualify him from the contest as his layout is clearly not from his own ideas. In addition, I'd like to point out that plagiarism is a crime and should be taken seriously. It is no joke when someone took your work for granted without giving you any credits, when you are actually the one who puts the effort on everything. Thank you. |
