| Well, it's all down to personal preferences. Asking such question on a open forum won't get you clear answer. As for me, well I did like the Clanned series, it's my favorite (despite what haters say ;) ). Did I see anything better then it? Not really, since I haven't seen that many series; but again that just me. Look at recommendation on the Clannad's page. Watch some of them and see for yourself. |

| well ive played the vis novel and i think that the ending is very well done when keeping to the games storyline and ofcourse u guys maybe right i cud just be my lack of experince when watching anime ive watched angel beats and air and i think clannad still tops them |

| You cant compare Drama vs other gendre anime, like Clannad vs Berserk. Clannad, in its own gendre, is one of top anime, no doubts, but it depends on taste. |

| Still watching. There is no "best" anime. That's beyond subjective. I don't think anything tops Higurashi in my book. And I'm not saying quality-wise. I'm just saying that it was one of my first anime, and since these contests are all based on weighted criticism anyway, I'm picking the anime that introduced me to anime. Also, Angel Beats was good. It's not a god of anime or anything... it's an anime with good music and art, but it doesn't really fall in line with itself (plot holes, inconsistencies, etc.) |

| This thread basically reinforces why I hate Clannad fans more than any other, blindly flaunting a mediocre anime with bug-eyed girls, generic characters and a bland plot as the greatest show ever. It's fine and dandy that you love it so much, but touting it on the forums just makes you look like a fool. My suggestion is that you venture outside the realm of just K-on, Clannad and... Pokemon, maybe then you will change your opinion. |
