Encrid is (rather suddenly) in the border guard, and on patrol with Jack and Bo through a market town. Suddenly, a hooded assassin strikes, and the assassin, Jack and Bo are all with The Gray Hounds (also kind of unexpectedly cowardly of The Gray Hounds to assassinate someone like that).


The assassin was impressively grey and pale coloured 🧟 and looked kind of dead (ugly) whenever they showed his face. Also lucky for Encrid that they are capable enough to kill him each time, so that he can then start again from 'full health'.

I like each of these loops and seeing Encrid overcome the challenge (or "Wall"), and it feels kind of like a mystery puzzle in some cases with how new things are revealed on each loop.
