| I’m looking for good horror movie recommendations for October. I’ve always wanted to do a marathon of watching one movie per day, and I’d really like to know which movies have truly scared you so I can build that list. Personally, the movie that has terrified me the most is Skinamarink. I’m a fan of analog horror and couldn’t help but enjoy it. |

| I was going to suggest Skinamarink as well. I remember The Babadook was really good. First Insidious when it came out. When I was younger, Darkness Falls and Dead Silence freaked me the hell out. The idea of a creature that can only harm you when it's dark terrified me as a young kid, and creepy puppets were a big no no as well. Anything stuffed or on display in a room that shouldn't move, scenes like that I hated. My Grandparents house were full of them and I would stuff them all into the closet before going to sleep XD |

| 1408 was probably the scariest horror concept I've seen so far. |
| I have seen Bring Her Back, and it is one of the most disturbing horror films I have seen in a while. It has depictions of child abuse via gaslighting that is so plausible that it disturbs me more than most horror films. This is not a horror film you can relax to, it is a horror film that makes you sad, and though there is not a ton of gore, the gore that does exist is so visceral. I think it is the best horror film of this year. |

| I watched way more horror movies than I should have, and one the few good ones that actually was scary was Midsommar. |
