Anybody here ever use/used this particular audio codec?
It's pretty unique in that it takes your input files and produces a hybrid solution to lossy and lossless files by creating a batch of lossy files and lossless correction files, which when they're all in the same folder can be used to reproduce the original lossless versions.
This is great for saving space, so you can keep the correction files on a hard drive and then use the lossy files on your DAP or on your local storage.

Sounds like this codec consumes a significant amount of computing resources.

I get the idea, but I'd rather store the original lossless and a lossy file instead.
No, this isn't my signature.

I've seen some tutorials done on it via YouTube, seems like it makes a pretty significant difference. Though I haven't dabbled in it personally.

I only use "wv" unpacker when needed. I also don't like "ape". These formats are not popular like "flac" and troublesome to play or convert to another format.

the codec sounds good but no sort of backwards compatibilty with each new version is very bad considering your old encodes will be useless so no wonder flac is still more popular than this for lossless audio codec
