| We get to see a backstory of Kotaro 8 years ago, in the year 20XX... Wait, nice parody of Hokuto no Ken! xD He wants the cute toys, especially the Kyuthi-chan plushie, but he couldn't do it as he's too afraid to be ridiculed further by his classmates. So Kotaro wished for a friend who would stay by his side and play & laugh together with him. Oh, Kotaro, if only you had been more honest with Puniru-chan. :| It was Gelee who picked up Kotaro's keychain from the sewers, since she's hoping to gain Kotaro's affection this time. Kotaro invites Gelee to their house, tho. :o After Puniru and Kotaro had their fight, Puniru decided to go to Mami-chan and accompany Mami to her house. Mami has a mature imouto, a hardworking househusband dad who looks like an elementary school kid 😳, and a well-endowed mom who's like the final boss version of Mami-chan. xD These thoughts are troubling Puniru's mind if she's considered a "fake" friend. :( |
| Kotaro and Puniru need to realize that they need to stop arguing, Gelée is winning there :( And the Kotarou backstory made me feel so bad he just wanted his Kyuthi plushie :( Mami's father though ahahah, I obviously thought it was her little brother too lol |

| This episode still hits as hard as back when I read its chapter. That was easily one of my favorite chapter too focusing on his past which is pretty sad. Back then I also play with stuffed animals like plushies as my imaginary friends with their own personalities. So this particular chapter really resonates with me more than I imagine from a silly gag comedy like Puniru. Oh boy, I forgot about Mami's mum is a bigger freak then her. No wonder Mami would inherit this huge motherly instinct. Puniru's picture of what family is now broken and also she's dead inside from hearing the word fake which she associate it with replaceable friend once unwanted. Both Puniru and Kotaro could be very stubborn to a fault but when it counts, they'll always have each other back no matter what happened. |

| “Does Kotaro see me as a fake friend” nah man I’ve had enough. I know he went thru trauma as a kid with the cute stuff, but I am SICK and tired of Kotaro treating Puniru like shit. She’s done nothing but be kind to him and support him, and he just keeps shunning her. At least tell her about the past and explain why you’re hesitant!! But he is a little kid tbf, it’s just frustrating to see Kiara senpai family showing more love to her than Kotaro. Speaking of that family, holy shit lmao. No wonder she’s a shotacon when her mom is too and they’re both batshit insane. Poor Maika being the only normal one and watching all this unfold everyday had me crying. The fact Maika is an otome fan is so based too, sort of little sister everyone would love to have. Surprisingly emotional episode, really hope we get a makeup next week |

| Kindergarten kids are ruthless, it was a battlefield for Kotarou, we finally got to know Mami's family after being teased all this tiem from the OP and we know where she got her uniqueness from, I'm surprised that what I imagine was going to be a silly segment ended up being a turning and breaking point for Puniru, Gelee's words finally got to her. | Wow, this episode took a different turn than the rest. I always knew there was more to Kotaro and Puniru's friendship just from seeing how the first episode of this series went. This series plays itself off like it's just a gag humor joke when in reality there's still something more meaningful going on. |
