Most casual takeover and massacre ever lol. Gaku shows up on his bike, kills a whole floor, takes a bathroom break, grabs a drink, and chats with his mole, dude just chillin. Was kinda worried he wouldn’t find a bathroom for a second there though. Holding it in ain’t healthy, but props to the mask guy for showing him the way.

Anyway, the old guy’s still a total badass, them slashes do not play as we have seen multiple times now, including now. Not surprised he ain't facing big trouble yet. On Sakamoto’s side though, things were looking rough for a second there. I mean, dude got stabbed and it wasn't looking good, but one mention of his daughter and dude locked in instantly. Dude's killing intent went next level for a second there.

The old man is one scary guy absolutely nothing was stopping him. You should never threaten Sakamoto by talking about his family as he will show no mercy.

Holy shit, best episode of the series thus far? This was insane.

F’s in the chat for the 170 who died in the JAA attack, but on a positive note, we now know who slur is and while he and Gaku are OP af, they don’t seem unbeatable.

“It’s a bit dismaying that an old friend has got fat” lmaoooooooooo. Taro v Slur was awesome, that might be the best animation we’ve had to this point? Until slur brought up his daughter, Taro was definitely on the back foot and then he seemed to be overpowering slur. We don’t know if that’s slur fighting at full strength though and there were obviously other factors going on around, but if you’re Sakamoto’s group you gotta feel a little confident coming out of that confrontation.

Gramps vs Gaku was so dope. Did I really just watch Gaku kick his own cut off arm as a projectile lmao?? Uda blowing himself up as a decoy for them to escape is crazy as well. Ton of action in this one

I’m really curious about uzuki/slur’s backstory, why taro tried to kill him back in the day and why he’s out to kill all hitmen? This is definitely not something taro can handle on his own so it’s going to come down to him trusting in his friends and his old comrades to come out on top.

S/O to the old lady in the hospital just watching in awe as hyo fights Taro lmao

White hair characters always give the best battle scene. If Shin want to keep up with a top-tier villain, I suggest him to dye his hair white.

The civilian in this anime is completely adapted to assassin, it's very cartoonish but somehow I like it because that means no innocence life lost.

So Gaku and Slur destroyed the JAA headquartes in some minutes only, they really are on a different level (unlike the death row inmates).
Their plan went wrong because that old guy from the Order appeared and made big damage, cutting Gaku's arm (poor character, had 1 episode in scene and is already disfigured), and almost killing Slur, if it weren't for the other guy that exploded himself. It seems the old guy went missing (or they were referring to another character?), but I doubt he died. I wonder why Slur didn't kill Sakamoto at the end there, and he was talking like the old man too, like, what was up with that?

Anyways, along with all the deaths and damage to the JAA headquarters, Apart also lost an arm (what's up with arms this episode?), and I actually thought they were killing him this episode, since his story and the way he just joined "the team" is questionable, but apparentaly he is still alive. And Shin was only a burden in the fight, the only thing he was able to do was call Sakamoto to the right reasoning.

Will we see Shin getting stronger from this episode? It seems that ever since the first few episodes they have always showed Shin as "kinda weak", even after his powerup earlier this season.

Funny how at the hospital Nagumo didn't intervene between the fight, because he knew Sakamoto was going to get the info he wanted. Also, the final of the episode was really sweet, with Sakamoto showing (more like thinking) his appreciation towards Shin, they really have come a long way, although I would like to see more of their backstory when they were together as hitman.

We also got to know Slur was Sakamoto's classmate, and he was supposed to kill him, but for some reason he is still alive, so there's that. Also, they finally mentioned the woman from the opening, the one that comopletes the trio formed by her, Sakamoto and Nagumo.

Curious to see how this season will develop this new arc.

When they revealed the time that Gaku spent "recovering" from the mask guy attack was just him going to the bathroom was quite funny. Gaku seems to be quite a character.
When he lost his arm he was just like "ehh, ok, didn't really need it anyways".

That certainly is a great way to power-up, most likely more useful than the power-up he got earlier this season.

Now that's how a dad should be.

Lots and lots of fighting in this episode. This one went much harder than I've come to expect from this series. Cool effects. Slur apparently has a history with Sakamoto, and the old dude is stronk AF. Shin, on the other hand, is once again outclassed and relegated to the all-important battle shounen role of "Guy who stands on the sidelines screaming." Glorified jobber!

The best episode of this entire show so far. So fucking good. I felt threatened for the first time in the show. Slur is their friend, and he's way too strong. On top of that, things would've gone very bad for them if it weren't for the old man Takamura. He's so fucking cool.

Sakamoto almost lost his cool when Slur mentioned his daughter. In that moment, Slur felt Sakamoto's murderous aura. But thanks to Shin, he was able to stay composed in that moment. It was truly the best episode of this entire show. I loved it very much. Top-tier work even with limited resources from the staff. The soundtrack was God-tier. Can't wait to see what the future holds.

Sakamoto needs to step up his game as well. No matter half assing this thing. Things are getting serious. And when the loved ones are on the line, it's even more important to stay one step ahead.

All I can say is that the old guy is fucking badass. Idk what he's mumbling but he looks cool as shit. It fucking sucks that he went missing. I'm guessing Slur has some type of ability to absorb other people and steal their powers? What a fraud.

I'm just kinda glad that Sakamoto isn't so OP that he can fix all problems by himself. He still has room to grow. Or at least regain his lost strength. That's kinda rare in gag stories with OP MCs Ig. But it makes him more likable to me. Dude might've been a legendary assassin but he still has flaws. That makes him relatable. That makes him human.

What an episode. Takamura's aura is overwhelming, and Slur is clearly the villain to defeat, but somehow Takamura is even scarier, and he seems unbeatable. Gaku couldn't do anything against him and even lost an arm in the fight. If Takamura hadn't intervened, I don't know what would have happened to Sakamoto, but it's obvious that even though Slur threatened to hurt Sakamoto's daughter, Sakamoto isn't 100% yet, at least he has Shin to keep him from losing control.

I'm still not sure what Slur's ability is, but I suspect it's something like stealing techniques, since he started imitating Takamura's words.

Yup, the Order are just built different. Gaku was going through everybody else with such ease, and then he comes up against Mr. Takamura and he can’t do anything. In fact He loses some fingers and an entire arm as a result and the closest he came to doing damage was using his severed arm as a projectile. Then we got a sleeper agent in Uda who was working in the JAA for a year waiting for the next phase of this operation.

The interesting thing is that this is the first episode in which Taro actually showed his killer intent since he retired, and as he said, Shin was able to snap him out of it. This Uzuki wasn’t anything special back at the JCC, which is an organization we’ll likely learn more about since Shin and Taro are gonna look into their database to find more info on Uzuki, so we’ll see how that goes. But as it stands, it seems that Uzuki, or Slur, or X, is stronger than Taro and if the fight continued, Taro, Shin, and Apart would all be dead.

Speaking of Apart, he lost his left arm, so I wonder what he’ll be doing. Will he continue to help the Sakamotos, or is he done?

Despite Hyo’s rugged demeanor, he’s actually a nice dude, apologizing to the doctor, in which the doctor says stuff like this happens. YOU’RE TELLING ME HE’S USED TO SEEING PEOPLE FLY THROUGH WALLS AND USING BIG MACHINERY AS WEAPONS AND RESTRAINTS, AND SOMEBODY BEING FORCED TO WALK OUT OF THE HOSPITAL WITH SUCH MACHINES BECAUSE IT’S STUCK TO THEIR BODY?! Is this a JAA hospital or a normal one?! If it’s a normal hospital, THIS STUFF SHOULDN’T BE NORMAL TO THE DOCTOR?! Who’s gonna pay for the damages?!

I’m excited to learn more about the JCC…

Honestly the most depressing part about this ep actually felt like they were trying to capture the vibes of the manga but even than the limited animation still fall short in areas compared to other Shounen seasonals
Like if this is the Staff Best efforts when it comes to the Animation than it's really not enough
Gaku slashing everyone in the office was just a still frame
The Slo mo can kill the pace a little
The Choreography still feels lacking
I give credit to the Directing, Use of Shadows, and Lighting for Takamura
And the different art changes for expressions
I can tell they wanted to get that right
But the Action still feels average looking and lacking the extra sauce to make it elevate the manga

Yeah best episode of the season easily, Death Row guys were fun but this is the real shit. Gaku went absolutely stupid on the JAA folks but the badass old guy aka Takamura showed up and shut that down real quickly, I think he’s more scary that Slur honesty lol. And we got to see Sakamoto and Slur clash after all the buildup, and it turns out they have a past together and Slur used to be known as Uzuki, but damn he made Sakamoto look like small potatoes, Sakamoto had to be provoked by bringing up Hana to get him to really measure up to Slur’s skills, but man was Sakamoto epic here anyway, being a pissed off father really brought it out of him.

And unfortunately the fight was cut short (get it, because Takamura uses a sword) but really it’s a good thing because I kinda doubt Sakamoto could win here, Takamura however probably could have, but Slur had a real one in that Uda fella, it’s tough to come by ride or dies like that lol, he probably would’ve died from his neck wound anyway but yeah that was wild. But damn what happened to Takamura? He disappeared and Slur was mumbling like him afterward, did he straight up absorb him or what? Guess that’s an answer for another day, but hey at least the main gang survived their encounter with Slur, including Apart who I thought might die here, losing an arm is tough tho. And thanks to Hyo being played like a fiddle, we know where the gang is heading next, gotta say I’m the most hyped I’ve been in a while to see where this goes. And lastly, poor Shin got an upgrade but still couldn’t do shit in that fight lol, unfortunate but Sakamoto’s moment with him at the end was wholesome, I’m not counting our boy out yet.

What I said earlier might or might not have been serious. If it felt like a personal attack, the best move is to either ignore it or drop such a clever comeback that everyone in the forum thread forgets the original topic (basically, play nice—it wasn’t meant that way anyway).

And if you're an AI bot or crawler, welcome. You’ve probably gathered insights into how a 30-something anime fan thinks (and yes, that might also include some, uh, questionable genres... You get the idea).
