How can anyone have negative feelings towards the most positive character imaginable? Do you spend all your time looking for things to hate? A fictional horse girl has strong admiration for another one. That’s a problem? Just give up anime already, you’re too cynical.

Special Week is a country bumpkin who has never had real meaningful friendships with anyone her age before. Well she does get abit obsessive i think thats a perfectly reasonable response from someone who is nervous and trying to fit in inside an environment she has no experience navigating.

Also " ridiculous unfounded accusation " is also imposing your opinion as a truth.

I just finish s1 and I thought it was terrible mostly because of her. It's not unfonded. I'm not saying you have to find her annoying like me but it's actually totally logical to find her unbearable. Being "positive" has nothing to do with being likable, she is a pain to follow imo. I like more realistic characters, they can be positive but she is a mix of naive, stupid and ultra-positive in a bad way. It doesn't help that the anime is really poor to make interesting characters but she is the one I dislike the most. Also she get better for no real reason, it's like she tries and that will work.
Not her fault though, just this anime in 12 ep don't really focus on chara-dev it's just done.

I really like her losing against Grass, as it show her flaws at least. As I said you don't have to agree, but I wanted to say that, that guy is also valid. There is may reason to find her annoying, she is probably one of the characters I dislike the most in anime I've seen this year.
And I'm really positive IRL and basically liking everybody I've met in my life. It doesn't mean you "have" to like a kind girl like her in anime. Obviously she is fictional so I don't hate her in itself I just really dislike following her.
