| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Heh, the show with the horse girls. I should say right off the bat that this episode introduced characters in exactly the way I had expected. Special Week what kind of name is that?? is actually pretty cute although a bit clumsy. She also seems to be a super curious character with what she sees around town. PA Works adapts the setting and looks colorful enough I guess. On the other hand, I don't think the story will be good at all. It's more like a popcorn comedy type of show with horse racing. Oh and Silence Suzu is cool for a horse girl, at least for her speed. | Well that was entertaining. I don't think this will have a serious story, just some harmless fun. Since I like these kinds of shows, I'm probably really gonna enjoy it. Also that trainer's groping was a bit too much. |

Also, nice change for an idol trainer/producer, the man is a total perv and a bit unorthodox (I mean we have the typical idols just joining a unit on their own, through an audition, producer coercion (Cinderella Girls), or parents forcing them to join, but being kidnapped into a unit is a first). This anime and the game that it is based on ... will be the thing in Nippon im saying it now. All the personality types will be here im sure of it even if i just watched only first episode, the pool/beach, festival this show will have all of this kind of episodes included. Don't know if it was just because of the first episode, but damn ... the production value is high. |

| Idols with horse ears and tails... fair enough. The character comedy was cute and it doesn't seem to be taking itself seriously or trying to be anything it's not. I can see it working as a light entertainment series as long as they don't try to turn serious half way through. Also is it just me or was Special Week's admiration of Silence slightly on the yuri side? |

| This actually is not that bad. Feels a bit like Sekai de Ichiban or Keiji. But not that good yet. It's nice that there wasn't stupid comedy. A bit the trainer shown as pervert. But not that much and not as annoying as in a harem anime for example. If this stays mainly about rivalry and friendship between the horse girls it might be okay to watch. (Feels like 7/10 at the moment.) |

| The recipe for this anime is already crazy. Girls, who're also like horses, but also idols as well. Only in Japan, but god damn do I love that! =D The first episode was surprisingly good as well. P.A. Works is doing business as usual with the strong production values as this show looks really nice. The comedy scenes were funny and the cast, although big, was good as well. I want to see more of Vodka though. =3 This is easily the oddball choice is this spring season, but judging by the first episode, it's off to a very good start. As long as the staff keeps this up throughout the season, this could be the surprise dark horse, pun intended of course. =P |

| Our MC girl is a bit clumsy and a bit too excited by things by the looks of it, she can definitely run though. Wow can't believe he just grabbed her legs like that, no wonder she kicked him hard. Scary thing is when he said he's used to it, and he just so happened to do it again lol. I see so it's a combination of racing & being an idol, Silence Suzuka was very impressive. She made some friends pretty quickly, all the girls were pretty nice. 2nd place isn't bad for her first attempt, also considering the fact she left the gates way after everyone else. I see so he was a trainer and got her into the team that also has Suzuka on it and she was in the action very quickly, funny moment there at the gates with the eye patch girl. This was pretty good, I can tell this will be a good anime. |

| Despite the super weird concept of race idol horse girls, this was one highly enjoyable first episode! What a way to start the new season. Great production values so far in my opinion. Hopefully it stays consistent like this as well. Great animation and visuals, and I love the designs. I think I'll enjoy the hell outta this for sure. Praise P.A. Works! |

Holy.... they actually got the whole ear thing right!? Watching again, there are no 2-sets of ears for any of the horse girls. Hair or head gear covers up what would be human ears. |

| It seems to be hitting all the notes for a show for a horse girl horse race show. The idol bit at the end was both a what?/of course moment. Wondering if they will crank up the drama a bit as the show progresses as the horses try to start winning harder and harder races? |

| I can't see the appeal in characters like Special Week, shes a bumbling autist who is quite frankly painful to watch, her only drawing point is that she appeals to my OP mc guilty pleasure and that she's gonna blow the others away with her raw running talent. |

| Is it just me or does it sound like they did an up-close recording of a jackhammer to make the sound effects? Maybe it's because I've got it on my TV but even when I lower the volume to the point of hardly being able to hear the dialogue, some extremely loud thud manages to blast me from across the room. If I switch to my computer with headphones and it's still doing that kind of stuff, I'm not even gonna waste my time. The episode wasn't bad though. |

This first episode was a blast and it has a much better production value than pop team epic which was intentionnaly just trash. Pingu is a kid show and people rate it high because of nostalgia. | Well,there it is,one of the animes that was on my "don't bother" list. How could something with horse girls in be interesting fgs. Anyways,theres was nothing I was really doing so I watched the first 2 eps. Damn,did Special Week prove me wrong,cute as hell,fast as ****,and clumsy too. Think I'll be watching this one VERY closely :) |

| this is so silly and continues to be from what i first saw previews of it but it's the most japan ass japan thing to be made into a anime and it was quite funny P.A works plus Crygames = top tier budget so the running aspects of it look good so far. one thing i will say is the fact all the clothes are designed for their tails is a neat touch as far as animal girls good. |
