Is there any anime that you excited for a sequel, and turned out to be a full of disappointment, and kinda wish they should've just stop at the prequel?

for me there's multiple anime i can name on the go, but for me i feel like Shield Hero is the obvious one i want to point out the most, I quite enjoy the first season and very excited for the sequel, but as the story goes on the second season, every started to fall apart. The character, the story, the animation just saddening to look at. They should've just stopped at the first one.

For me, Tanoshii Muumin Ikka Bouken Nikki is the biggest disappointment because the first season was so great. The second one was mostly crap. Even the director of the show himself said it shouldn't even exist, lol.

Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! Ren - season 2 of Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai!. I just hate the new character Satone and overall season felt pointless. Story seems to be concluded already in season 1, so anything after that felt like it's season 1 all over again.
