I was watching this show and i realised that they are taking so much other world cash, but what are they doing with it? How are they exchanging it to Japanese yen? I'm still not able to understand that

He probably uses it to purchase goods from the people of the other world. He also uses it to pay his employees.

I was under the impression that the other side uses actual gold/silver coins. I'm sure there's an unscrupulous goldsmith on this side that will give him a discounted yen price to melt down that gold. Maybe grandma/grandpa knew such a person.
After all, how can anyone afford to have "meat day" once a month!

A theory of mine is that there's a magical device that exchanges the other world's money with yen and vice versa. Otherwise all of the week's profits he gained when he served the customers of his world would be gone instantly in 1 day when he serves the customers from the other world. They would be in dire straits if there wasn't something like that.

Ah, the age-old mystery of "meat day" economics! It's amusing how speculation about unscrupulous goldsmiths could tie into the affordability of such indulgent days. Perhaps there's a secret society of thrifty meat lovers making behind-the-scenes deals. Who knows, maybe Grandma and Grandpa were the founding members! The ways of meat aficionados are as mysterious as they are delicious.
