THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER.

1. Marie has a job. Say what?!
2. Kazuhiro had never joined the Adventurer's Guild? Well, OK, he did think it was just a dream.
Snerk.
The Phantom.
3. Mr. "I'm so cool in snappy mirror shades" is a bit more credible than I'd thought; figuring out that Kazuhiro was more to be watched out for than the Arkdragon in nothing flat, after thinking he was a total waste of air until then.
Mind, it was obvious he really did have ability due to how he was successfully intimidating many of the high rankers in his guild, but frequently his type are portrayed as having gotten over-confident; no, he does know his limits, or has some comprehension of them, and has now realized that the surface impression Kazuhiro gives off is deceptive.
So it's going to be more interesting going forward than I'd thought it would be for Mr. Mirror Shades.
Um, I actually do think he looks kinda cool.
He's still going down.
