| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I was kind of disappointed that they didn't explain that soba shop owner had the same thing happen to him with his wife, like in the manga. I just would have made the episode better, but overall it is one of my favorite parts of the story :D |

| thanks for the info star, that makes a bit more sense cause they really did seem like a random couple. i really liked the little jigsaw bit he talked about. everyone's like a jigsaw puzzle with a missing piece so you just have to find someone to finish the puzzle. very nice lines that old man has. |
| Too bad they didn't spend a little more time on this episode. They could have had more background on the old man, as star_lit said, and then things would've seemed to make a lot more sense... or, maybe, just a lot less random. Still a good episode, though! For a moment there, I actually thought Momo would go back to Touji... |
