THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.

Well that was a fine waste of 5 minutes. The beginning of the episode was not only cliche but also too short for any sort of development to occur.

I'm glad it was over as soon as it started. Aside from the beginning, the rest of the episode was fantastic.

It was like a dream come true to see all of the digivolutions in action. MaloMyotismon had no chance ^_^ It's been a while since I've seen the final boss get smacked around so easily. But unfortunately all good things must come to an end.

Let's get ready for the final episode!

I'm glad that Daisuke shone in this episode. He is the main character, but he has been treated like he is dumb in some occasions

That's Digimon for ya, created a plot device as an excuse to show of all of its evolutions. Well, I can't say that it wasn't enjoyable and as a kid I would've shot through the roof watching this episode.

True, he was the clown of the group for way too long. At last his brainlessness and stubborness let him shine this episode. He finally looks like a MC character, way too late but still better than nothing.

Not a bad idea, but execution... 5 minutes wasted.

He is dumb. It's just that his dumbness gives him an advantage in this episode.

I really liked it. Vamdemon outplayed them again. Now they are screwed.

I love how they invented a plot device to show all the digivolutions simultaneosly. Also the fact that there are many worlds (it was mentioned before, but we got to see only 3, real world, digiworld, and Dagomon's ocean).

This "emotion becomes real" world is interesting.

I was going to say the same thing! LOL

Anyway, there's probably a Dark World (I think that's where Demon comes from?) so why doesn't he just go there? *checks* Yeah there is! Dark Area which is basically a Dark World. Sure he would have to fight Plutomon, but he should stop being a weak lazy ass and get to it.

Vamdemon is pointless and annoying especially in a sequel where the concept of multiple worlds exist.

So Vamdemon is the final boss of 02 eh? I mean... I like him as one of the last bosses in Adventures but as the penultimate in 02...? ehhhh

Let's just get this over with, go Imperialdramon!

Yolei's illusion/vision was a bit... trash, maybe. Lol
Ken deserved a punishment like that when he was the emperor...
But the power of the script suddenly made him a good boy, so there's little you can do.
(Clearly, I prefer it that way)
I'm not going to lie; it was epic to see so many versions of different evolutions together, but...
That it was possible because they were in a world where wishes come true... It's like empty.
It's making things too easy. Sure, it's a not-so-new anime and primarily aimed at kids.
But I'm not entirely convinced by how simple and unnecessary some things are here.
The episode, for the most part, boils down to evolutions and more evolutions.
It was funny that Tailmon and Wormmon didn't have many versions, by the way. Lol
I don't know what to really think of the episode...
It was positively impactful on one hand and also disappointing on the other.
It was OK. On to the next one!
