I was just wondering since most people don't tend to be into the josei genre [someone prove me wrong please!]

I got into it myself only because the story seemed interesting and I wanted to see what a josei was like. Glad I tried it =)

Wanting to check out Josei was my reason too. I realized I hadn't read any and was ignoring the genre completely, so I picked the highest rated ongoing one on MangaUpdates and have been happy I did since. That said, it's still the only Josei I read, so...

I'm a fan of josei!!! I've read/watched - NANA (thought that might actually be shoujo), Hotaru no Hikari, Nodame Cantabile, Honey and Clover, and Ristorante Paradiso (though haven't finished it yet). There. Proved you wrong...kind of lol.

I started reading it because I kept seeing it being recommended by people on Y!A. =)

Well, I'm an avid Yotsuba&! fan and while updating my progress on it, I noticed Usagi Drop under the user recommendations and decided to look it up.

There's a bit more drama than I expected but I'm really getting into it and find Daikichi and Rin's relationship quite cute.

I don't exatctly remember how I found out about Usagi Drop, but it was probably MAL's rec list.

I stayed with it because I like Josei just as much as Seinen, as long as story, art and development match up. And that is very much the case with this one.

This. ^

And I've been really enjoying it thus far, started off kinda slow but it's getting better and more interesting as the story progresses. :)

I was in a bunny-mood, so I checked if there was any manga with Usagi in the title. Silly, I know. This one seemed pretty interesting, so I gave it a try. I like it very much.

I also got to it via MAL. Someone had written a review that showed up on my panel and I went to check it out. Glad I did too, it's such a nice daily life story! Too bad we have to wait sooo long for the next release :)

I came upon Usagi Drop when I saw it was on the recommended list via MangaUpdates while I was browsing Sahara Mizu's My Girl (which is the best dramatic seinen manga, in my opinion, of all time). I am really hoping someone picks it up despite the license starting with Volume 5 as by the time that is actually released here, I'll probably have my own nephew or niece to worry about. Also, I've seen volume 5 and chapters 31 to 39, excluding 34, 36, 37 of volume 6 in raw form and the drama is getting quite suspenseful, despite the fact Rin isn't a little girl anymore, but rather a teenager.

I did not know what Josei genre was and my reason by curiosity just got the better of me by looking at the cute manga cover. I started reading and I was hooked. I love it, the progression between both character growing up together is just wonderful.

I was looking for a less tasteful loli series which I couldn't remember the name. I picked up Usagi Drop at random, trying to see if it was what I actually was looking for.

Haven't checked out the manga yet, but the anime promo for it showed promise. And now the anime is probably among my favorites. <3 I'll read the manga once the show's done.

I try to check out every anime that is airing, except for shounen ai, yaoi and sequels to anime I haven`t watched.

And Usagi Drop is very adorable.

I was searching for single parenting manga. Those manga's tend to be emtoional. I immediately wanted soemthing like Aishiteruze Baby, and then I stumbled upon this manga.

It was a very enjoyable read, even with the flaws.

I really don't know... maybe for the name Usagi. Then I saw the image of the little kid and saw that it was Josei (the josei I've readed so far were good so why not?), I started to read it and fell in love with this serie ^_^

I'm really glad I started to read it <3 and when I saw the anime was out I was like " O_O wow I can't believe it that they maked an anime of a manga soooo passive" but I'm still glad for it since there are some fillers and things that don't happen the same way in the manga, is like other perspective. I'm liking the anime so far ^_^

But so far i quite like what i ve read labelled it =) I usually tend to just 'find' my anime/manga LOL

I first was turned off by the animation (Daikichi looks soo OLD) but I always try to give an anime series one full episode of my attention before judgment. I'm glad I did! Fell in love with Usagi Drop after the 2nd episode. It's relaxing to watch and I don't have to be bombarded with random moe or fan service scenes. Instead, there's a lot of cuteness ^^

I tend to prefer Josei as it has more complex plots.

I got into Usagi Drop because I am a single father & I like reading stories about single parents (particularly men) raising children.

Happened to find this series when looking for interesting manga to read, and I like it...
And I'm really exited when I heard this series getting into anime...
(Now just waiting for the live action... Kukuku...)
Don't like it? Just stop watching/reading it. Why become a masochist that keep going through something you don't like and bitching in the end of it?

i had seen Aishiteruze Baby, and i loved the whole "taking care of a kid" senario. just about every anime/manga with kids involved has them doing something sexual at some point. i was pleasantly surprised to see something different, i loved this series

although i would have preferred Daikichi to get with Kouki's mom :\

If you're asking how I came upon this manga... I was looking through what updated and what was new in a manga website... I just happen to saw Usagi Drop. I thought it was a cute title, you know bunny drop....I read the summary of the manga.... And I thought well why not give it a try. After all I've been looking for some heart warmth reading...
And here is the part where I got into Usagi Drop, the more I read on the more I wanted to know what happened... I liked how Daikichi took upon Rin to raise her as a single parent. And the cute funny things he did for her when she was young. And as she got older you can see how they both got along together and whatnot...
I just felt like this was something heartwarming to read. And I really did like it...
btw I did not watch the anime...

Ah so sorry for writing such a long post XD. But yeah this is my answer...

I was looking for a new manga to read and kept seeing it on the update list and became curious. I'm glad I read it; though, I have to agree that I seriously thought Daikichi was going to marry Kouki's mom. Also, I'm kind of curious about how they got over the awkwardness at the end.

Btw I like some Josei; it's nice to see characters around my age once in awhile (I'm 27) and some of the stories are really good.

Actually I frequently read manga written for thirteen year old japanese girls. (28 male incase you were wondering)
I think i got the recomendation from faster than a kiss and since i really enjoyed teppies cuteness for a while i read manga with kids in it as the recommendation suggested I would like it for that reason. And of course i fell in love with that cute little Rin and became a fan of the worthless bum charracter that stood up and became a man to protect her.

I read a pre-release review for it and the story sounded really interesting. I decided to grab it once it was finished. I did, but waited about 2-3 months before I watched it. It blew my socks off. It was so sweet and moving. I was totally absorbed by it and I hated to see it end. Those are prerequisites for my giving a 10 rating, which I did give it!

Well to be honest, I saw a review for the anime on MAL and clicked on it, thinking it sounded like an interesting title. I looked at the picture and was captivated by the art. I didn't bother reading about what the story line was, I just found the first episode and watched it. And after a few episodes I started reading the manga <3
