| Damn, Kira was absolutely savage. I'll admit, his zanpakuto never really impressed me since it just seemed so plain and strangely shaped. But in that sense, the symbolism & philosophy of his sword is conveyed even more by that oversight. Rejecting Aguila's battle cries and humiliating him with that execution certainly made for an anticlimactic ending - which drives the grueling point on bloodshed home even more profoundly. |
