| I'm just really curious, the novel has been published and is completed since 2004. While a manga from another author/artist created the manga. I don't know about its sales but I am really enjoying the manga. And I also know that its getting an American live-action movie adaptation, so, I don't know if that means if its really popular or going to get popular or even more popular. Though I'm really just hoping that this gets an anime adaptation. Its completed and its really short too so it'd be easy to make. Anyone have any ideas? |

| The live-action movie adaption Edge of Tomorrow with Tom Cruise was great along with the better ending of the manga but, I'd still love to see this story animated. |
| ^ Basically this ^ Ghost in the Shell was 1 volume. Burn the Witch was 4 chapters + a one-shot. Any manga material under a volume length can get an adaptation. In 20 years time when anime studios are tight on budget they'll come and make these 1 volume mangas into movies/ovas for profit. It's a win - win for everyone! |

| "Finally!" we finally got one, (is what I'd like to say) but... it doesn't seem like it'll be a faithful adaptation to the novel. Different somehow. And the childish art is ugly. It doesn't fit the tone of the story at all. I'll watch, but until I see it, I hate it, so far. |
| I don't know if they're adapting manga or LN. I only read manga. Really liked the first volume, art, story, characters... all great. Story kinda fell off in second one. @waalex11 Yeah, I agree. I expected more serious tone and not this childish garbage. But again, look which studio is doing adaptation. They butchered Berserk so, why not add more bodies to the graveyard... |

I wasn't exactly aware how bad their adaptations are, even though I noticed their ratings aren't great... but seeing how the director seems inexperienced, now I have little to no hope it'll be acceptable. Man. We'll see. If it's mediocre, Hopefully we get another anime adaptation from a better team, I guess. |

| @Alexioos95 Thanks. I finally read it. I don't mind it starting off and focused through Rita as the main protagonist instead of Keiji, I guess. We'll see. |
