| That's strange, I thought that Maetel had that pendant with her, when she first left La Maetel? That said though, this really was pretty much Star Wars and the Death Star in another coat :p In general I wasn't a too huge fan of this series, while it sure was nice to see everyone in it from Captain Harlock to Queen Emeraldas. I did hoped that it had more of a story of the trip both Maetel and Emeraldas would face on the Ginga Tetsudou 999 where they first left together in the prequels. I also would have liked to at least know how Emeraldas actually would've gotten her scar that she is usually known of having and the fact that La Maetel and the queen are actually still alive in the sequels. Besides that I did quite enjoyed this series and sadly for me the last series of this magnificent franchise! |

| Nazca sacrificed himself to destroy planet Promethium, although Promethium will return. She always does. Nazca must've been the first man that Maetel ever loved. His death was very difficult for Maetel, and she'll never forget him. This series was pretty good. I wonder if we'll ever get another anime set in the Queen Millennia/GE999 universe. I would love to see it. |
